Tears came to her eyes. She wanted to be with Lila so badly, but society was against it. Society disapproved of their relationship. Elizabeth Wakefield, straight-A student and responsible twin, was in a forbidden relationship. The tears came faster.
Enid saw her best friend break down. Without a word, she took Liz up in her arms and ignored what she�d said before. Liz was in love with someone else. That made Todd obsolete.
�If only she�d trust me enough to tell me what�s going on,� Enid thought as she held Liz.
