Lesson
One
Connecting
to the Environment
Our
destiny or quest in life doesn’t necessarily depend on if we’re rich or poor,
successful or unsuccessful in financial gains so we have to ask what are the
purposes we walk this earth.
The most meaningful way to contribute
to the world is by working on our own individualized spiritual development. A
person can become highly religious yet not have a single drop of spirituality.
In order to gain an understanding in the difference of religiousness and
spiritualness is to define the two. Religious is to adhere to religion.
Religion is an organized system of belief in a higher supernatural being.
Spiritual is pertaining to, or consisting of spirit. To be spirited one has to
be courageous. Courage is defined as having a quality of mind that
enables one to face danger with confidence, resolution, and firm control
of oneself. So to be spiritual one has to be in a balanced firm control
and confident in oneself, not only do you believe in a higher supernatural
being, you have to rely on your own self with confidence.
The best example of a man who was
spiritual, confident in himself and connected to his environment was Jesus. All
miracles he performed was in nature, he didn’t perform a death defying feat
while pivoting on top of a churches steeple, instead he walked on water,
confronted Satan on a mountain top, and most importantly prayed to his Father
continually while he was alone. He even told the disciples, his closest friends
to not follow him while he walked up steep mountain trails for a one-on-one
communication with Creator. When Moses lead the masses they didn’t run to the
enclosure of a church or temple but instead headed also into the wilderness.
This is the environment where all the miracles appeared and were performed.
Christian religions following holy
scriptures often times doesn’t touch on the issue of connecting to the
environment for spiritual energies. Some light candles, and twirl incense
inside a building with vividly colored stained-glass windows in hopes to
empower followers with natural occurring energies in an indoor setting. They
continue to ignore a biblical scripture that states that God does not dwell
within manmade temples.
It’s not a big held secret on how to
tap into spiritual drawing energies, it doesn’t even take being on an earth
vortex, what is needed is all around you and easily obtained without performing
spectacular ceremonies.
There is a universal energy in and
around everything, that is the stuff you have to fill yourself with just like
charging a battery. By observing nature and its beauty you are successfully
taking in the energies. You will begin to feel connected and energized, colors
will become more vivid, scents will be more prominent and movements will have
more meaning to you, such as the gentle sways of the trees or the rush of the
water in creek beds. They will seem to be communicating thoughts to you that
previously you were unable or willing to observe. With this new energy you will
also start to receive coincidences called synchronicity in your life, messages
of guidance and newly found paths for you to follow. Complete strangers may
come up to you and start a conversation about an issue you just thought of a
few minutes or hours ago. This will seem odd but truly it’s just the opposite,
its much more natural and a sign that you are in balance with all things
beneficial.
For many people it is hard at first to
think of themselves as being connected to all things, many have been programmed
to think that you are unique, better than and above the animals, trees, bodies
of water and rocks. Someone has also told you at one distant time in your life
that you have a soul but these other things do not so that makes you more
special. Maybe this happened when you accidentally killed a butterfly and felt
so terrible that you took its life that someone finally said that you shouldn’t
be so unhappy, it was "just" a butterfly. This is part of the
programming that moved you away from being connected to your environment and
unable to tap into the energies that have always been there for you to use.
Observing things closer just like seeing them for the very first time will help
to reprogram your thoughts by thinking like a child again, noticing the divine
and mysterious in all things. During a sunset imagine those energies going
right into you, because in reality, they really are. Each one of us have an
electromagnetic field surrounding us and it is up to you to think of the reason
we would have such a thing and what it could possibly be used for. When I have
contemplated on this field of energy I can only conclude that it is for
receiving these energies from our environment and also a sending out of
energies from ourselves. This seems to be a simple and yet complex form of
communication utilizing not just thoughts and opinions but the emotions we feel
just as well.
Science is now on the brink of
discovering that our thoughts actually materialize in a physical form. When 9-11
occurred there was a scientist who had created a machine that read wave lengths
within the atmosphere. He said that when the destruction commenced, and during
the following days afterwards, these wave lengths tipped the scale, forming
high peaks on the computer screen. With this experiment he proved that our
emotions tie in with each others, grouping together from each one of us and are
being emitted into our atmosphere. We are able to exchange information with
everyone and everything within our environment at a molecular level unseen with
our naked eye.
The world re-known psychic Sylvia
Browne claims we create what she calls "elementals." They are a
spiritual essence/being that form from our thoughts when they are highly
emotionally charged. Sylvia claims that these elementals become manifested and
go out doing our bidding, bringing about what it is we were sincerely
requesting for in our lives. She claims that when a person dies who sent forth
elementals before death can cause their elementals to become lost. They can
either stay around the area in which their creator once resided or they go into
a level of the spiritual realm that is designated for them there. When staying
within our physical plane they are often times considered as ghosts who haunt buildings
or grounds and that often times, when people believe it is the actual spirit of
the person, in reality it is just the elemental they had often times were
unaware of creating. Through a spiritual ceremony, one that calls the attention
to these elementals, a person can tell the essence that their creator has now
passed from this physical existence and they should now leave the area
themselves and go home to the spiritual realm. In the book "Earth
Way" written by Mary Summer Rain, her teacher No-Eyes helps her to travel
to the spiritual realm that these elementals reside in. She explains that they
are not the people themselves but the creation of individuals as they wander
around awaiting further commands from their creators, unaware of their deaths.
We certainly can’t prove to everyone
that elementals do truly exist but we can contemplate on this idea. If we are
creating them, we need to realize the power we each contain and the benefits we
can cause to exist within our environment.
