These pages I want to dedicate to Jewel.
I discovered her music about two years ago, when I heard You Were Meant For Me on a compilation album. So afterwards I went buying her CDs and they were really impressive. Since then, Jewel's music has always been very close to me. Well, I might not be a fan from the moment she started, I don't like her less because of that. When Pieces of You was released in the US in 1995, I was only six years old, so it's kind of logical that I never became a fan of her at that time. I think that I've hardly heard of her before I heard YWMFM, years after its release. Here in Belgium she's hardly known, but maybe she was more popular during the Pieces Of You / Spirit times. I'm very thankful that I discovered Jewel. Not a day passes by without that I listen to her music, and if I cannot listen to her, I always have a song ready in my head. She added something to my life, because with variety of songs she can make me extremely happy or sometimes even make me cry. She's special & with her music she created a place in the sun for me and all of her fans.
