| Ok, so today really wasn't that bad considering i had to work 13 hours. Amazingly enough, i'm not even tired. I have a feeling that J isn't calling me tonight, we've sort of gotten into a rut, and i know exactly when, what time, and where he'll call me from. it's sorta nice in a way, though i'm not exactly sure in which way. I guess just that feeling of comfort and routine makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (ok, maybe it's not that great). Anyhow, I still honestly don't know how i feel, and after dating someone for10 months i think you should feel something other than just comfort. But, back to my day. I was rudely awoke this morning by the human resources lady (we'll call her Bitch From Hell or BFH for short) @ 8:00a.m. Now, granted i usually wake up at 8:30 anyway, but i need my extra 1/2 hour of sleep. well, BFH tells me that the people buying the track have set up interviews for all the employees that are intrested in working for them after the sale. Of course, i've been off for two days and no one had bothered to call and tell me about this....so, being the nice BFH that she is, she called to inform me that there are no interview spots left because she forgot to put my name down, but she might be able to call them and see, if they can squeeze me in. And all i could think was, gee thanks for the effort you've made to help me out, and to keep me informed about all this AFTER it's already happened. I guess it wasn't that bad, but if you even knew the half of all the shit i have to put up with from her, you'd wanna shoot her sometimes, too. There were some good parts of the day (amazingly). One of the customers tipped me $100.00 because he hit a superfecta for $13,000. Who am i to refuse? so, i figure i'll use the money to buy something to drink on friday besides the usual Jack Daniels and Coke....maybe a little Hennessey or Alize...who knows.....thanks for listening..hope to see you back again soon..Julie |
