| Today was beautiful! it got to around 75* (i dunno where the little degrees sign is) I went out and did a little work in the yard....yippee..my grass is gonna be so green this year with all the snow and rain we've gotten. It's already turning green :) i'm so damn happy. I also cleaned some more in the house, amazingly enough...everytime J comes over it looks like a tornado came through the house (not that the tornado is a bad thing, i often contribute to it) I've been listening to the news lately and i'm sick of the president and this china thing...just fucking apologize. I think he wants to be just like his daddy with the whole gulf war thing. I'm so damn pissed off at the people who voted for him just because he's a republican. I mean, i'm not affiliated with any party, but i'd consider myself a liberal by all means. But, if John McCain would've been on the ballot i would've voted for him. Instead, I voted for Nader (and trust me i've heard the whole, "you're throwing your vote away" speech) because he's more along the lines of the kind of president i wanted. Gore and Bush were practically the same damn person....ok, i'm sure i'm boring you now...i'll switch subjects....actually i listen to a lot of talk radio, and most people think i'm insane for doing it...they all say, "talk radio is for old people", but i personally love it. In fact, i'm addicted. I even listen to Dr. Laura...And I hate her guts. J laughs at me for torturing myself, but it's like some sick and twisted way to punish myself i suppose. Anyway, a few of my favorites are Art Bell..of course (who doesn't love to listen to freaks?!?) and I'm begining to fall in love with Phil Hendrie..he makes up these absurd characters and some morons call in and get all offended and yell at these made up people. I laugh the whole time i listen. One time his "guest" was this lady who thought her neighbor was fat being a size 6, and got so upset at her when she was eating a chocolate bar, she smacked it out of her hand and preached to her! so, anyway, now you know my freakish secret life as a talk radio listener..if you have any free time...check some of them out...most of them are hilarious! bye bye for now...julie |
