| Q: If acting was out of the question, what would your full time career plans include? A: Probably working the field that I've been studying in since 1990--that's adherence and compliance issues related to proper lifestyle behaviors. Q: Does Julia plan to become a mother? A: Maybe in a couple of years. But nothing ever goes as planned. I take things one step at a time. I want to smell the roses. These are my happiest and most exciting days... Q: Do your parents support your career choices? A: Yes, very much. As long as I'm truly happy, they'll always support me. Q: How does having gotten married affect your plans for the future? A: I a positive way. I love the support Mike gives me. He's learned so much about the business over the years. We have such different lives to compare, but it's not a hinderance in any way because we fully support each other and what it takes to excel in our own professions.. Q: Do you ever view your Christian values as a limitation to your career? A: It isn't a limitation in my eyes, because as a Christian, I am open to what God wants and He is limitless. I have been limited on what jobs I can accept, but that's completely my choice and I don't consider those losses. Q: If you became the mother of a little girl, would you support her career choise if it was acting and modeling? A: Yes, but with lots of guidance. There are alot of people out there posing to be "someone you need to know" and most of them are fakes--a waste of time and money, not to mention dangerous. It isn't the place for naivete. I went this business on my own and had to figure it out myself. It's hard that way. Q: What is your life's mission or goal? A: Attempt to achieve my childhood dreams and in so doing, spend the rest of my life working to help others see how important they are physically, mentally, and spiritually. Q: What do you like best about your self? A: Independance and determination I guess. They have contributed a great deal to getting me where I am today. Q: What do like least about your self? A: I tend to be nervous about something all the time. I don't really relax much. There's always something I need to do. I am also extremely critical of myself. Q: In your own words, what is a hypocrite? A: The person that points the finger at another to call them a hypocrite. We have to realize that we've all done something we say we don't agree with or know is wrong--the realization is the result of spiritual growth--where we can look back and say, I wouldn't do that now, or I shouldn't have done that. The problem occurs when we try to fault others for not being how we think they should be. The only one who can make the determination of hypocrite is God Himself, because He knows our hearts and only He is faultless. |
| Q: Julia, there are many flavors of Christianity out there, and there are some religions that claim to be Christian, but are not. In your own words, would you describe the basic makeup of a true Christian, and explain what it takes to become one? A: First of all, I don't consider Christianity a religion. Religion is man-made and was created so that man could practice Christianity in a way that was "comfortable" for them. Anyone can be "religious," (i.e. practice religion), but they aren't necessarily a Christian. A Christian is a follower of Christ. Can you pick them out of a line up? No. If you tried, you might pick the people who "act good" or are "religious," but that doesn't mean that they are followers of Christ. There is no one on this earth that has the right to determine if you are a Christian. That's between you and God. True Christians have trusted God to control their lives through His Spirit, which was sent to us following His Son's (Jesus') death; a Christian has the love of Him not only in their minds (understanding) but in their hearts; because He said that He would reside there if we only ask Him to. Christians will call on Him daily to direct their paths and seek Him through prayer--in that way, Christians are always in communication with their Savior. I think the one thing that separates true Christianity from "religion" is the one-on-one relationship that we as human beings are allowed to have with The Creator of the Universe! How awesome is that??? |
