| 10 THINGS I hate about you This film is a romantic comedy starring Heath Ledger. He plays a boy at the school called Patrick Verona This film is a high school film that is based on a Shakespeare play called "The Taming of the Shrew", which is about two sisters Kat whp is played by Julia Stiles and Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) who are very different despite sharing the same parents. Bianca the younger sister is pretty and popular and Shallow. Kat the older sister is described as being "Incapable of human interaction." by her father. Their father Walter (Larry Miller ) has a hard rule that Bianca cannot be dating until her older sister Kat is dating. Kat has no disire what so ever to date. As it gets to the prom Bianca finds herself with two boys Joey Donner (Andrew Keegan) and CameronJames (Joseph Gordon Lewitt).
