| Josh's eyes widened as they pulled up outside a romantic restaurant, "Lance..." Lance smiled at Josh's shock, "You like?" Josh's eyes sparkled with love as he turned to look into Lance's glowing ones, "I love. You know I'm a romantic, I love stuff like this. I love you." Lance smiled and slid his hand into Josh's and squeezed, "I love you." Josh smiled at him and they got out of the car and went inside and walked over to the maitre'd. He smiled and asked, "How may I help you sirs?" "I have a reservation, under Bass." Lance replied. He looked at the book, "Table for two. Right this way." He took them to their table which was in a secluded spot at the back. Lance held Josh's chair for him as he sat down and then sat in his own chair. "Here are your menus, your waiter should be by later to take your order." He said as he handed them their menus then left. "What do you want Josh?" Lance asked as he looked over his menu. "Umm I think I'll have the bass." Josh said as he looked at Lance and winked. Lance caught the wink and blushed trying to hide his smile by looking at the menu, "I'll have the cajun chicken." Josh looked at the menu and got excited, "I know what I want for desert." "What?" Josh grinned, "Mississippi Mud Pie." Lance smiled, "You sure you can handle CHOCOLATE." "You bet your sweet ass I can." Lance shook his head laughing, "You are so cute." Then the waiter came by to take their orders, "Have you decided what you want?" Lance smiled at the waiter; he was cute but he didn't hold a candle to Josh, "Yes. I'll have the Cajun chicken with salad and he will have the Bass with salad..." Josh interrupted Lance, "And the no. 79 wine please." The waiter wrote the order down, "Will there be anything else?" "2 slices of Mississippi Mud Pie for desert." Lance said. "Ok. Your meal should be ready in about 20 minutes, I'll bring your wine out." The waiter said then left and gave them the order and got the wine and discreetly came back to the table and poured a bit in Josh's glass when he gave the go-ahead he filled Lance's glass and left the wine at the table in a bucket of ice. Lance took a sip of wine, "Mmmm this is nice. Good choice." Josh's cheeks tinted red and he shyly replied, "You know I like wine tasting. Only the best for you and me." Lance smiled, "Well happy birthday baby. Wow I can't believe your 24 you look like your not a day over 19." Lance raises his glass and Josh does the same, "Here's to a happy birthday and a new beginning. I know we are meant to be together and I hope this is the first of many birthday's celebrated together." Josh smiled and clinked glasses with Lance, "I hope so baby. Here's to a lifetime of happiness." They both smiled at eachother and drank, they made small talk while they waited for their meals to arrive both thanking God that they had found eachother. Lance smiled at Josh as they ate glad to finally have some time alone with his lover, he loves the others dearly but sometimes he just wants to whisk Josh away and live on a deserted Island with the ocean as far as the eye can see and Josh by his side forever. If only. "What'cha thinking about love?" Josh asked breaking Lance out of his fantasy. "You." Lance replied reaching for his wine. Josh blushed and smiled, "Oh yeah? What about me?" Now it was Lance's turn to blush, "I was just thinking of whisking you away to a desert island for the rest of our lives." Josh smiled even as he felt his cheeks heat up, "Heaven." Lance looked up at Josh and smiled at the blush spreading across his cheeks, "What?" Josh reached under the table and squeezed Lance's thigh, "That's my idea of heaven." Lance smiled feeling tears swimming in his eyes, "Mine too. I love you." "I love you too." Josh replied smiling and they went back to eating. BACK AT LANCE'S HOUSE The guys were busy decorating the house they got every birthday banner you could think of and they even bought a tonne of confetti. "JU WHEN'S THE CAKE COMING?" Joey yelled from the living room where he was moving the furniture out the way. "AT 2:30. THEY SHOULD BE BACK BY 3." Justin yelled back from the kitchen where he was laying out all the food and making sandwiches and every snack you could think of was there. "'KAY." Joey yelled then he turned to Chris and asked, "Baby do you want some help with those balloons?" Chris looked up from the floor and said, "Yeah. I think I'm running out of breath, we should of bought a pump...or some helium." Joey laughed, "Yeah." Joey walked over to Chris and sat down next to him, "Ok let's get starting on the rest of these bad boys." Chris laughed and they both got to work as there's only a couple of hours until Jc and Lance get back. AT THE RESTAURANT Lance and Jc had finished their meal and were just waiting for desert. "You having a good time babe." Lance asked staring into Jc's beautiful eyes. Josh smiled, "I'm having a great time, I love that you did this." "Anything for you." Lance said smiling at Josh, he really would do anything for him. Josh grinned, "I'd go anywhere for you, anywhere you asked me to, I'd do anything for you, anything you want me to, your love as far as I can see is all I'm ever gonna need, there's one thing for sure I know it's true, baby I'd go anywhere for you." Lance blushed and smiled at Josh, "That was cute, and cheesy. Backstreet Boys I like it but I can do better," Lance grinned and winked at Josh, "But my love is all I have to give, without you I don't think I could live, I wish I could give the world to you, but love is all I have to give." Just then applause sounded and Jc and Lance blushed when they realized the whole restaurant heard them, they had been too caught up in the song that they didn't realize they had been singing for everybody to hear. Josh flashed his million-dollar grin and said, "Thank you, we'll be here all week." Everybody laughed and Lance ever the professional smiled and waved hoping his cheeks weren't bright red. The waiter brang them their desert and after they finished and paid the bill they went for a walk and then went to a few arcades then they drove home. As Lance pulled into the drive and cut the engine Josh slipped his hand into Lance's and said, "I had a really great time today. Thank you Lance, I love you so much." [[It aint over yet! The three stooges better be ready when we come in or I'll kick their asses]] Lance thought as he squeezed Josh's hand, "My pleasure Kitten and I love you too, so much." INSIDE LANCE'S HOUSE "There here." Justin whispered as all the guys grabbed confetti and party blowers. They heard the key turn in the lock and they got ready as the door opened, they yelled, "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!" |
