| OUTSIDE LANCE'S HOUSE Lance and Jc got out of the car and headed for the door, Lance got out his key and put it in the lock. "Thanks for today baby, I had a great time." JC said as he smiled at Lance. Lance's heart skipped at Jc's smile, "Your welcome." Lance opened the door and as soon as he and JC were through the door Justin, Joey and Chris shouted while they set off party blowers and threw confetti, "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!" Jc stood there in shock a smile appearing on his face, "Oh My...you did this...me...Lance you knew...wanted...to surprise me." Lance smiled at Josh and kissed him, "If it were up to me darlin' we'd never see these dorks today but they wanted to celebrate with you." Josh giggled as the other three shouted, "Hey!" "Well is this a party or what; let's celebrate!" Chris yelled excited. Josh wrapped his arm around Lance's waist and walked over to the guys who had moved the furniture and had a little dancefloor set up, "Thank you guys." "No problem C." Justin said as he went over to the stereo and put a CD in, "Y'all ready to dance?" Josh just laughed and said, "Show me what you got DJ." Justin laughed and pressed play and immediately familiar beats and Josh's voice blasted out of the stereo. Jc couldn't stand up he was laughing so hard, Lance shook his head laughing, "'Space Cowboy'? Really J?" Justin laughed and looked at Josh, "Tell him C." JC looked up at Justin nervously, "Tell him what?" "C tell him 'bout the song." "J..." "Tell me what?" Lance asked confused as to what they we're talking about. "Take a space ride with the cowboy?" Justin sang looking directly at Josh. Jc blushed and started to sputter, "J, um, 'Space Cowboy', er, you, well, yeah, well, you only knew 'cause I told you." Justin smirked, "So tell him." "J." Josh whined. Lance walked over to Josh and looked into his eyes, "Tell me what?" Josh looked in to those jade eyes and knew he couldn't lie, "Damn you Justin! I'm gonna kill you later." Justin rolled his eyes grinning, "Promises, promises." Josh chuckled nervously, "Lance the thing about it is, well when I wrote it, it wasn't just for the film..." Lance smiled and thought [[There is no way he could of wrote it for...no no no there is no way, no way. Is there?]] "It wasn't?" Josh shook his head blushing, "I wrote it for," Josh paused and Lance held his breath, "You." Lance eyes widened, "For me?" Josh nodded, "Josh you wrote me a song." Jc looked up and his breath was almost taken away by the love and joy he saw in that gaze, "You couldn't guess from the title?" Lance looked confused, "What d'ya mean babe?" Josh blushed, "'Cowboy' 'cause your from the south and the first day we met you, you were wearing those cute cowboy boots." Lance blushed, "I hoped you would forget what I was wearing that day, it was so embarassing." "It was cute." Josh smiled and gave Lance a quick kiss, "Anyway, and 'Space' 'cause you've always wanted to be an astronaut." "Take a space ride with the cowboy." Lance smiled, "Josh were you trying to tell me something?" "Well they approached me to do the song for the film, and I was thinking about what to write then I saw your cowboy boots and you were watching something on NASA and it just came to me." Josh looked in Lance's eyes, "Don't you remember me jumping out of the chair and shouting, 'Oh my god! I've got it.'" Lance bit his lip thinking then laughed, "Oh yeah, you scared the shit out of me." Josh laughed, "Yeah I know you jumped about a foot in the air and then in my head it just clicked 'Space Cowboy'" Lance smiled, "Thank you for writing me a song baby." "Your welcome." Josh smiled and leaned in for a sweet kiss. Lance moaned as he kissed those soft lips his hands coming up to frame Josh's face, when he pulled back he was breathless, "I love you." Josh's smile lit up his entire face, "I love you too." Lance brushed Josh's cheek with his knuckles and his breath caught at the love in JC's gaze, "You are the most beautiful boy I have ever seen." Josh blushed looking at Lance from under his lashes a smile teasing his lips, "Yeah?" Josh's voice is music to Lance's ears, he runs the tips of his fingers down Josh's cheek, "Yeah darlin' you are...amazing." Josh smiled and covered Lance's lips with his own wrapping his arms around Lance's waist. Lance smiled into the kiss and buried his fingers in the hair at Josh's neck, kissing his love deeply. Josh pulled back and brushed his nose against Lance's, eliciting a giggle from the younger man, "Wanna dance?" Lance looked into those beautiful blue eyes and nodded, "I would love to." "J could you put 'This I Promise You' on?" Justin smiled and put it on smiling; Jc was so happy. Josh closed his eyes and pulled Lance closer laying his cheek against Lance's. Lance had tears running down his cheeks as he sang with his love, "Just close your eyes Each lovin' day And know this feeling won't go away 'Til the day my life is through, This I promise you This I promise you." JC sang his part with Lance singing his own, "Over and over I fall When I hear you call Without you in my life baby I just wouldn't be living at all." The guys just watched in awe as Jc and Lance had their moment, none of them had ever seen love like this before, they knew it would last. "LET'S CUT THE CAKE!" Chris yelled breaking Lance and Jc out of their dance as everyone laughed at Chris. Jc looked at them eyes wide, "Y'all got me a cake?" Justin laughed, "C what kinda party would this be without cake?" JC giggled at Justin then he looked into those beautiful jade eyes of the man he loves and he leaned forward the smile still on his lips and kissed Lance passionately. Lance closed his eyes and savored the taste of his lover as his baby's tongue slid in his mouth, he groaned as his tongue became entangled with JC's beautiful one. Josh pulled back and looked into Lance's beautiful eyes and sang from his heart, "When winter comes in summer When there's no more forever When lies become the truth Well you know then baby That's when I'll stop loving That's when I'll stop loving you," Josh smiled at Lance, "That's when I'll stop loving you." Lance smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek, "That's was beautiful Josh. 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You' I love that song," Lance sweetly kissed Josh, "I love you." Josh smiled, "I love you." Jc looked at Chris, "So where's this cake." "Wait there a sec." Chris said as he, Joey and Justin dissapeared into the kitchen. Lance stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Josh's waist from behind and rested his chin on Josh's shoulder, "You ok babe?" Josh leaned back into Lance's arms, "Perfect." Lance kissed Josh's neck, "Me too." Then Justin turned the lights out and they walked in with the cake, it had 24 candles on it and they were singing, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear JC, happy birthday to you." Josh giggled and blew out all the candles, "Make a wish." Lance whispered in his ear, Josh closed his eyes and made a wish. Justin cut the cake and gave them all a slice, Josh smiled and said, "Thanks Curly." They laughed and joked for a bit, Lance saw Justin go in to the kitchen and turned to Josh, "Do you want a drink darlin'" Josh smiled at Lance, "Yeah Dr Pepper please babe." Lance kissed Josh, "Be back in a minute." Lance walked into the kitchen and grabbed 2 Dr Peppers then turned to Justin and took a deep breath, "Justin, we need to talk." |
