| Josh's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open in shock, "Ohmygod, ohmygod. I can't believe you did this." Josh's eyes took in everything as Lance led him inside Illinois biggest art museum; which Josh had been meaning to visit, there was no-one else there. "I have reserved it 'til 1, then it's open to the public again." Lance explained. Josh was overwhelmed that Lance did this for him, he turned wide sparkling blue eyes on Lance's and spoke, "Lance, Baby this, this is amazing, I can't believe you did this for me. I love you so so much." JC sighed, "I really wish I could kiss you right now." Lance laughed, inwardly beaming with happiness that Josh approves but there's more to come; the day's not over yet. "Me too, but I love you too. I've never really been able to see art like this, so could you explain it to me." Lance asked. Josh seemed glow even more with happiness, "Sure, I would love to share this part of me with you." Josh took Lance around showing him different artists and asking what he felt by looking at the different pictures; sometimes looking at art you can feel what the artist felt when they made it or you have your own emotion looking at them. He showed Lance art from Picasso, Dali, Van Gogh, Monet, Munch, DaVinci, Rapheal, Versario, Michealangelo and many more. By the end of the day Lance was more well-versed in art and his favorite painting was 'The Scream' by Munch he was fascinated at all the horror, angst, sadness and bitterness you can feel from the painting, but usually the greats had troubled minds which made their peices of work more great because you could never truly understand the mind of the person who creates the masterpeice, like Josh, Lance frowned at that, he heard most of the greatests masterminds died a tragic death, Lance shook himself out of those thoughts he didn't always understand Josh but that what's made him so lovable and mysterious hopefully one day he would figure Josh out but either way he would always love him. Lance checked his watch, it was 12:50, they had been here for nearly 3 hours and Lance barely noticed then a phrase popped into his head 'Time flies when your having fun' it was a simpler version of one of Einsteins theory's - time is all relative. Which is true if you go to the concert of your favorite group, when it ends it seems as if no time has passed when really about 3 hours has passed, if you go to a concert with your sister or something and sit through a concert with a group you really dislike it feels like instead of 3 hours passing that 3 days have; it's all relative. [[One day at an art museum and your getting philosophical]] Lance mused as he turned to look at Josh who was looking beautiful musing over a peice of sculpture. "Josh?" Lance said hoping to get Josh's attention. Josh moved to look at Lance and answered, "Yeah?" "We have 10 minutes left." Lance said trying not to dim JC's mood. Josh sighed looked around smiling then turned back to Lance, "Okay. Lance this has been one of the best days of my life, that you did this for me was so amazing and I love you so much, and the fact that I could enjoy this with you with no other people around is so special to me and I will treasure what you did always." Lance smiled while his eyes teared up, "I love you and I would do anything to make you happy, and today has been one of my best days too seeing you this happy brings me more happiness and contentment then you will ever know." Lance laughed, "Damn now I wanna kiss you so bad right now." Josh laughed too, "We'll have to wait a few minutes 'til we're in the car, let's go." "OK let me go thank the manager for allowing us to have the place to ourselves for a few hours." Lance smiled then went off to find the manager and thanked him profusely for letting them have the place for a few hours. Josh and Lance left and headed to the car once inside Josh took Lance's face in his hands and looked into his eyes for a few glorius moments before taking his lips in a passionate love-filled kiss. When they broke the kiss Lance layed his head on Josh's chest and whispered with so much love, "I love you." Josh smiled and stroked his hair, "I love you too, so where to next." Lance grinned, "It's a surprise." Josh laughed, "I like your surprises." They settled into silence for the rest of the ride, JC grinned and laughed when he saw that they had arrived at an amusement park, "You are the best boyfriend anyone could ever ask for." Josh said. Lance laughed at Jc, "I thought we could have a little fun after being so serious." "You are gonna spoil me James Lance Bass, but I love you no matter what." "Anytime Joshua Scott Casez, and I love you too, with all my heart." They grinned at eachother and donned the usual disguises; shades and a baseball cap. They had more fun then they had, had in a long time, riding rides, laughing and acting like teenagers instead of famous popstars. Lance looked at his watch and it was 6:30 they had reservations at 7. Lance looked for Josh he was playing some kid at 'Daytona USA' and he was beating the crap out of him; all the years of playing Chris and Justin finally paying off. Josh won and he felt bad for the kid so he bought him a cap, some candy and a hotdog and told him, "Your good, keep playing and one day your be as good as me." And he left the kid who was grinning and walked towards Lance. Lance smiled Josh was so darn sweet even when he had beaten the kid fair and square he still felt guilty; he'd be a great father some day. "Lance this has been the best day, I have had more fun they I have had in a long time, thank you, you are the best." Josh said grinning. Lance grinned Josh looked so happy and adorable, "I'm glad you like today but we've got to go, we've got reservations for dinner." "Boy you just full of surprises today, I love it and I love you." Lance smiled, "Thank you, I love you too. Let's go." They walked back to the car and headed on their way to the last place they we're going a quant little Italian restaurant. JC beamed with happiness when he saw where they were, "This is great Lance I love you so much. This is the perfect ending to the perfect day." [[It aint over yet]] Lance thought happily, nervous and excited about his last surprise for Josh. They went inside and they approached the maitre'd who asked, "How can I help?" "Reservation for Bass." Lance answered. "Table for two, right this way Sirs." The maitre'd said as she led them to a quiet table in the back, and after they we're seated she said, "Here are you menus your waitress will be here in a few minutes to take your order." They looked over the menu for a minute before the waitress came and took there order, pasta for Lance and spaghetti for JC. They made small talk until there meals came halfway through the meal JC spoke to Lance, "Lance thank you so much for today, this has been the most special, amazing day of my life, and I will never ever forget it and I am gonna miss you so much this next week with us going home but I am gonna call you everyday." Lance smiled, "I am gonna miss you too and I don't think I can survive this next week without being in contact with you, I wanted to do something special for you and I wanted to celebrate us getting together, because I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Lance stopped and took a deep breath [[This is it, time for Josh's last surprise]] Lance looked up at Josh and spoke, "Josh I-I've got you something that express's my love for you, our love. It's your last surprise of the night." He pulled a box out of his pocket and gave it to Josh who was staring wide-eyed at Lance, he slowly opened the box and he gasped and a tear slipped from his eye down his cheek, "Oh Lance it's so beautiful." |
