| "Oh God!" Lance whispered as his eyes filled with tears and fear. Justin broke down in his brother's arns and cried into his chest as Joey cried into Justin's hair. Chris held Lance tighter and asked, "Can," Chris swallowed, "Can we see him?" "Of course." Dr Moore replied, "Not for too long though because we need to moniter him very closely." Chris, Joey, Justin and Lance exchanged glances and then Joey said, "Daddy you can go in first." Shady looked at Justin and Joey for a moment then asked, "You sure?" Joey nodded, "Yeah we'll go in next." "OK." Shady said as he followed Dr Moore to Joshua's room. Justin and Joey walked over to Chris and Lance, Justin and Joey shared a worried glance with Chris. Joey combed his fingers through Lance's hair, "Are you okay Lance?" Lance looked up tears staining his face, "No. I need to see Joshua. I need to tell him how much I love him." "Lance me and Justin will go in next then you can go in after us." Lance smiled at them, "Thank you." Shady came back in and told Justin and Joey they can go in, they went in and saw him then they came out and told Lance that he can go in now. "You need me with you li'l bro?" Chris asked. "No." Lance smiled at Chris, "I'll be fine." Lance walked to Joshua's room and took a deep breath before opening the door, his eyes filled with tears as he saw Josh connected to all the moniters. Lance walked over and sat in the chair, he slid his palm over Joshua's and interlocked their fingers, with his other hand he caressed Joshua's face and placed a tender kiss on his forehead. "Joshua it's me...baby-J." Lance whispered and laid his head next to Joshua's. "There are so many things I want to tell you but...I'm scared. I'm scared if I say those 3 little words I could lose you." Lance kissed his cheek, "I know that won't happen because I saw the look in your eyes when we almost kissed...you love me. You love me like I...love you. There I said it, I'm kinda hoping you can't hear me right now so that I can say it to you looking in your beautiful eyes," Lance smiled, "Your eyes...those bluer then blue eyes...those two magnificent windows into your soul." Chris, Joey and Justin went in to check on him and found him asleep his head resting comfortably in the nape of Joshua's neck and his hand clasped between both of Lance's. "They look so cute together." Justin said smiling. "Yeah they do. Is, is he allowed to stay in here?" Chris asked. Joey laughed, "Dude I don't think we could move him from this room if we tried." Chris and Justin laughed and followed Joey out and into the waiting room. "Where's Lance?" Shady asked. "He's a, he's a, he's asleep." Justin said. Shady raised an eyebrow, "In Joshua's room?" Joey nodded, "Yeah but please don't move him...he needs to be there." Shady looked perplexed, "Boys what aren't you telling me?" They all shared a glance and then Joey said, "Joshua and Lance are..." "...Soulmates." Justin finished for Joey. Shady looked at Justin, "What are you talking about?" "Daddy," Joey began, "Joshua is in love with...Lance, and Lance is in love with Joshua but their not together yet, they were both too scared to tell eachother." "Are you saying Joshua and Lance want to be in a...relationship." Shady said. "Yes. Daddy they love eachother completely they are soulmates." "You want me to make sure Lance stays with Joshua?" Shady asked. "Yes daddy, you couldn't move Lance if you tried." Joey said. Shady nodded, "Ok." As he walked past Joey he said, "I assume once he wakes up Lance will tell him how he feels?" "Yeah. Lance needs him." Joey replied. Shady went to Dr Moore and told her not to tell Lance to leave. Justin, Joey and Chris went back into Joshua's room and smiled when they saw Lance was in the same position and he was..smiling. "I wonder what he's dreaming about?" Joey asked. "Who do you think?" Chris snickered. Justin laughed, "What do we do?" "Let's wait here until he wakes up." Joey said. The others agreed and they sat around the room and eventually fell asleep. Lance woke up later and nuzzled his face in Joshua's neck, he looked around the room and smiled when he saw Justin, Joey and Chris asleep. Lance looked at Joshua and his gaze softened and love shone brightly from his eyes, "Hey Joshua I love you." Joshua's fingers tightened around his for a second and Lance's eyes widened, "Joshua, oh my God, can you hear me?" Joshua's fingers twitched, "Oh Joshua...I'm gonna get somebody." Joshua's fingers tightened their hold and wouldn't let go. "Ok. I won't go." Lance pressed the call button and kissed Joshua on the forehead. A nurse came in, "Hi you called?" "Yes. He squeezed my fingers." Lance said. "Well that could be involuntery if he did it the once..." "No he did it more then once," She nodded for him to go on, "After the first I asked him if he could hear me and he squeezed my fingers and then when I said I was gonna get someone he squeezed my fingers and wouldn't let go until I said I won't leave." "OK. It sounds like the swellings going down. I'll get the doctor and she will check him out." She said then left and got the docter and she came back in. "I'm just going to check him out." Dr Moore said. Lance nodded and watched her do all these tests and then she turned to him. "The swelling has gone down and I'm guessing he should wake up soon." Lance looked at Joshua and said, "Ok. As long as he wakes up." Dr Moore smiled at him, "He should wake up very soon." Lance smiled at her and turned back to Joshua, "Hear that baby you're gonna be fine." Lance tenderly brushed the hair of Joshua's face, "I'm gonna stay here and I swear I'll be here when you wake up." Lance placed a kiss on Joshua's forehead and when he pulled back his breath caught in his throat at seeing those two beautiful blue eyes. "Hey baby-J." Joshua said as he smiled at Lance. |
