| Lance Bass was waiting for Joshua Chasez; the love of his life, to finish getting ready, Josh was taking him out tonight which was a pleasant surprise. Josh and Lance had been together for over 3 years; since Lance collapsed and Josh had confessed his feelings to him while he was in the hospital. Lance had been so happy when Josh said he loved him that he almost didn't believe it but he decided to take a chance and whispered the four most crucial words he had ever spoken in his life 'I love you Josh' From that moment on they had been a couple and Lance had never been happier, they had faced the guys, management and their parents and they had come out on the other side and their love was as strong as it was the first time they had got together. Lance was brought out from his thoughts when Josh walked into the room looking absolutely beautiful, Lance was speechless as he walked over to his boyfriend and wrapped his arms around JC's slender waist. "I love you, you look like an angel Josh. You are gorgeous and your glowing." Lance said, there was a glow about Josh that he couldn't explain. Josh smiled, "Your the beautiful one Lance, we better go." Josh kissed Lance tenderly before whispering, "I love you too." Josh took Lance's hand and led him to the Limo and they drove to a secluded beach just outside of Santa Monica. Josh led him over to the candle-light picnic that was on the beach and Lance gasped, "Josh this is so beautiful, why did you do this?" "I have something to tell you and I thought what better way to say it than on a secluded beach, under the stars with the man I love." Lance kissed Josh while desperately trying to keep his tears from falling. When they pulled away Josh took Lance's hand and led him to the blanket, they sat down and Josh gave Lance the first meal Hot Dogs; the meal they shared on their first date. Lance laughed and took a bite then grinned and asked, "Are these the same Hot Dog's we had on our first date?" Josh wrapped his arms around Lance and kissed him sweetly before answering, "Yes Sweetie they are, every time I eat their Hot Dog's I always think of you and our first date." Lance smiled, "Me too, I always remember how nervous I was even though I had known you for years it was like we were meeting for the first time." "I felt the same way too." Lance and Josh finished their Hot Dogs and Josh took Lance's hand and said, "I have another treat for you." He pulled a dish out of the basket and put it in front of Lance. He looked at Josh for a moment before lifting the lid, "Oh My God, Mama's pecan pie, how did you get this? Why did you get this?" Josh kissed Lance and took one of Lance's hands and took a deep breath before speaking his voice trembling with emotion, "Lance I love you more than anything in this world, you are my soul mate, the person I am meant to be with for the rest of my life. Before I met you I was lonely and the only thing in my life was my music but then you came into my life and you lit the spark in me that had been out for a very long time. I didn't realize I had fell in love with you until I had blurted it out that day in the hospital room. You had scared me so much that I realized I couldn't go on if you weren't in my life but when you said you loved me I felt complete as I do everytime I am with you." Josh stopped and got down on one knee which was weird as Lance was sitting down but Lance didn't notice or care as tears filled his eyes, Josh reached into his pocket and pulled out a small jewelry box he opened it and Lance gasped, then Josh asked the most important question of his life, "James Lance Bass...Will you marry me?" Lance's whole body trembled as his tears fell freely down his face he smiled and whispered, "Yes." Josh smiled as his own tears slipped down his cheeks and with a trembling hand he gently slipped the sapphire and diamond encrusted engangement ring on Lance's finger and kissed him deeply. Lance couldn't believe it was finally happening he and Josh would be joined forever in front of their friends and family. Josh pulled away and whispered, "I have one more surprise for you Lance." Lance smiled, "What is it? You've already made me happier then anything else in this world could, so what's my surprise." Josh looked at Lance his eyes shining and he pulled Lance close and looked in his eyes and said, "I'm pregnant..." |
