| Memories - Chapter 7 |
| Josh sat patiently outside Leahs room, wondering what they were talking about. I better not be the subject, he thought, Leahs going to get it for this. but he didnt really mean that because she was all he had. And she was just trying to help. Then his thought strayed to Lance. Good God, he was hot. Josh wanted him already. He figured it was because he hadnt had sex in years. Ok, almost eighteen years to be exact. Hed been so crushed after Christis death that hed barely left the house unless it was to bring Leah out or go somewhere with Joey. He broke out of his thoughts as Leahs door opened and Lance walked out. Seeing Josh, he smiled and said, she wants to see you again now. Thanks, Josh said, entering the room. He is such a hottie, dad. God job, Leah announced, oh yeah, I told him you thought he was hot. You what? Josh nearly yelled. Oh calm down. He seemed interested, so I invited him to dinner next week, Leah said. You did what? Josh fumed, you had no right to do that. Why didnt you ask me first? Youre going to be the death of me, Leah. He said he wouldnt come unless you said it was ok. Give it a chance, dad, please? Leah begged. Oh, fine, Josh agreed finally, but you are in big trouble when you get better. Youll thank me later, Leah replied with a smug grin. Yeah, whatever. |
