Mchapter11

While they are the pie that Leah and Josh had made together earlier that day, Leah chattered on about random things. Josh couldn�t help but wonder why she was in such a good mood. He decided to ask her about it later. He wasn�t going to complain that she was happy.

Lance and Josh kept exchanging what were meant to be private glances, but Joey noticed them right away. He figured that Lance and Josh wanted to be alone after dessert to talk, so he excused himself shortly after he�d eaten his slice of pie. �I should go now,� he told Josh, �call me tomorrow.�

�Are you sure?� Josh asked, �you can stay longer, you know.�

�Yeah, but I have a breakfast date with Kelly tomorrow morning so I need to get some sleep,� Joey informed them with a smile.

�All right. Call me after and tell me about it,� Josh replied, smiling back.

�Ok, bye everyone,� Joey said with a wave.

�Bye,� the group responded.

Once Joey was gone, Leah decided to speak up. �Hey dad, Justin and I are going to go up to my room, ok?� she asked, giving her dad a begging look.

Josh wasn�t sure that that was a good idea, but he trusted Justin and also wanted to be alone with Lance. �Sure, that�s fine, Leah. But be good,� he reminded them with a wink.

�Yeah, yeah,� Leah replied, winking back before grabbing Justin�s hand and leading him up to her room.

Josh laughed and looked over at Lance before saying, �I don�t know what�s gotten into her.�

�She�s quite a character,� Lance commented with a smile.

�Yes, she sure is,� Josh agreed. Then silence settled over the two, and neither was sure what they should do next. �Would you like to watch a movie or something?� Josh asked, not wanting Lance to leave yet.

�Sure,� Lance agreed, helping Josh clear and wash the dishes and then following him into the living room. Josh turned on the TV, searching for a good movie on pay-per-view. He plopped down on the couch and then saw Lance standing next to the couch awkwardly.

�Come�re,� Josh said, patting the cushion next to him.

Lance smiled and sat down next to Josh, but made sure that they weren�t touching. He wasn�t sure how comfortable Josh would be with touching each other yet.

Josh found a movie he was satisfied with and placed the remote on the coffee table in front of the couch. He propped he feet up on the table before sliding his arm around Lance�s shoulder and pulling him closer. Lance tensed at the contact, but then relaxed. It�d been a while since he�d been this close to another man.

Josh smiled as Lance relaxed into his embrace. He wasn�t sure where their relationship would go in the future, but he knew that at that moment, he was content.

They continued to watch the movie, laughing at the funny parts, smiling at the romantic parts, and saddening at the unhappy parts. Both were completely at ease with one another, something neither of them had felt in a while.

�So what do you wanna do?� Leah asked Justin once they were in her room.

�What do I *want* to do, or what should we do?� Justin joked, ��cause those questions are two different things.�

�Very cute, J, very cute,� Leah said with a smile before sitting down on her bed and trying to decide what they should do. �Do you want to watch TV?� she suggested, not sure what else there was to do.

�Sure,� Justin agreed, watching as Leah flipped the TV on and turned to MTV. �Music Videos are always good,� he commented as the video for Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule�s new song came on.

�Yeah,� Leah replied, sitting back down on the bed and motioning for Justin to join her. They sat together in silence, their backs leaned up against the wall, watching the music video.

Justin was a little nervous. He�d never really had a girlfriend before, so he didn�t really know what to do. Plus, he knew that Leah was more experienced than he was, so they just added to the pressure he was feeling. He turned he head to the side, watching Leah watch the TV. He blushed as Leah caught him looking at her, but she just smiled.

She could tell he was nervous, and wanted to make him feel more comfortable. She knew that he knew she was more experienced. And she thought that that was probably why he was so nervous. She leaned over and whispered into his ear, �don�t be nervous J, there�s no pressure tonight. I just wanna hang with you, ok?�

Justin blushed again, embarrassed that Leah could sense his nervousness. Leah grabbed his hand, trying to make him feel better. She smiled at him before giving him a quick kiss on the lips and turning back to the TV.

Josh opened his eyes to see the credits of the movie they�d been watching roll down the screen. �I must have fallen asleep,� he thought, trying to sit up. But he looked down when he felt something heavy on his chest. He smiled when he realized that Lance was sitting next to him, his head on Josh�s chest.

Josh looked at the clock and realized that it was almost 10:30 p.m. He wondered what Leah and Justin were up to. He decided to go check on them and then wake Lance up.

He carefully slid out from under Lance, making sure to leave him in a position that wouldn�t give him neck cramps when he woke up, and then headed up stairs to check on Justin and Leah.

Leah rubbed her fingers lightly over Justin�s hand, not able to pay attention to what was on the TV. She turned to watch Justin, wondering if he would mind if she kissed him. She figured he wouldn�t, but she didn�t want him to become nervous again.

Justin felt someone�s eyes on him and turned towards Leah, smiling when he saw her watching him. He reached his hand reached out, before he could stop himself, and ran it through her hair. She smiled at the gesture, turning her body to face Justin, before leaning closer to kiss him.

Justin tensed, worried that Leah would think he was a bad kisser, before relaxing and just going with the flow. Their noses hit a few times before they got it right, and after that it was all good.

Leah smiled into the kiss, happy that Justin had relaxed. She moved her hands around Justin�s neck and then into Justin�s curly hair. Justin wasn�t sure where to place his hands, so he kept one in Leah�s hair and the other caressed her cheek.

Leah slid her tongue along Justin�s lips, asking for access when there was a knock on the door. Leah groaned, pulling away from Justin with an apologetic smile.

She gave Justin�s hand a squeeze, looked the in mirror to make sure it wasn�t obvious that she�d been making out with Justin, and went to the door to her bedroom. Justin just stayed where he was on the bed, blushing and hoping that Josh wasn�t mad that they�d been making out. He didn�t want to get Josh mad at him.
