Memories - Chapter 12
Josh waited patiently for Leah to answer the door.  He jumped a little when she did and smiled at her.  How are you guys doing? he asked curiously, entering the room and smiling at Justin.

Fine, we were just watching TV, Leah told him with a smile.

Oh, ok.  Justin do you have to be home at a certain time? Josh asked, looking over at Justin again.

No, my parents didnt give me a specific time, Justin replied, his heart beating uncontrollably.  Please dont let Josh find out what we were doing, he thought to himself.

Well, you can spend the night here if youd like, Josh offered.

He can? Leah said, butting in, cool.

On the couch, Josh finished, giving his daughter a look.

Of course dad, I was just joking, Leah replied with a sweet smile.

Justin? Josh asked.

Sure, I guess that would be better than walking home in the dark, Justin responded, wondering how Leah could joke so easily about everything.

All right, Ill open up the couch for you to sleep on in the living room, Josh informed him, Ill come back up when its ready.  With that said, he left the room.

So, Leah said, walking back over to the bed after closing her door.  Justin immediately noticed the sparkle in her eyes, Where were we?

Uhhh, Justin stuttered nervously.

Justin, its ok.  Relax baby, Leah cooed, crawling over to him on the bed and places kisses up and down his jaw before making her way to his mouth.

Lance, Josh whispered, wake up Lance.  When that didnt work, Josh shook Lance carefully, saying his name again.  Still nothing.  Well, now I know that hes a heavy sleeper, Josh thought to himself, smiling.  He leaned forward, deciding to try one more thing.

And it worked.  Lance moaned as Josh kissed him deeply.  Josh knew he had succeeded when Lance began to respond to the kiss.  Josh pulled away reluctantly, smiling at the sleepy Lance who was staring up at him.

Hey, Josh whispered.

Hey, Lance replied, that is the best way any ones ever woken me up before.

I would hope so, Josh joked, Id like to think that my kisses are better than a pillow in the face.  He laughed and soon Lance joined in.

So what time is it? Lance asked, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

Its almost eleven oclock, Josh responded.

Ohhh, thats why Im so tired, Lance said through a yawn.  Im usually in bed by nine thirty.

Well then, its definitely past your bedtime, Josh replied, standing up.  Id offer for you to stay here, but Justin already has the couch.  Unless youre ready to sleep with me, which I dont think you are.  And I dont really think I am either, Josh rambled on.

Josh, youre rambling, Lance informed him.

Oh, yeah, sorry about that, Josh said, blushing.

Dont worry about it, Lance replied, I should really go home tonight.  Its definitely too soon to sleep together.  Not that I dont want to.

Yeah, I know what you mean, Josh agreed, well, I guess Ill walk you out to your car.

Ok, Lance said, smiling as Josh helped him up from the couch and led him to the front door.

Leah shifted a little to help Justin lie back on the bed, and she crawled on top of him.  She wanted Justin to be relaxed, she wanted him to enjoy himself.  She placed soft kisses down his neck and back up.  Her hands reached down to pull Justins shirt up and reveal his toned chest.  She smiled at his nervous expression, running her hands up and down his chest in an attempt to calm him.

Since Justin didnt know what to do with his hands, Leah took them and rested them on her hips, hoping hed know where to go from there.  He didnt know, but he felt the need to touch her stomach, so he lifted up her shirt, trailing his fingers lightly across the skin hed uncovered.  She felt him quiver under her as she tweaked his nipples.

She knew that Justin probably wasnt ready to go very much farther, so she kissed his lips once more before lying her head on his chest and listening to his heartbeat.  Justin almost whined when Leah had stopped touching him, but he knew that he wasnt ready to go farther.  He was glad that Leah was so understanding.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and tried to will away the fast beating of his heart and the heat that had grown between his legs.

Once Josh stepped outside, he shivered.  It was cool for almost being summer.  He walked slowly to the car, Lances hand in his.  He didnt want this night to end, but he knew there would be many more.  At least he hoped there would be.

Thanks for tonight, Josh, I had a great time.  Youre a great cook, Lance complimented.

Thats because Leah helped me a lot, Josh replied, laughing, and I told you not to thank me.  This was your thank you night, remember?

Yeah, but it must have taken forever to cook all that food, Lance argued lightly.

Yeah, but it was worth it, Josh responded, a smile on his face.  But seriously, Lance, you dont know how thankful I am that you saved Leah from what couldve happened.  I dont know what I wouldve done if shed gotten hurt.  Youre an angel.

Lance blushed before saying, youre welcome, Josh, Im glad I was there and able to help.  Im glad that Leah and Justin are both ok.  And Im glad that I met you.

Josh smiled at the last admission, Im glad that I met you too, Lance.  I know Ive only known you for a week, but I really care about you.

I care about you too, Josh, Lance replied, are you busy tomorrow?

No oh wait.  Yeah, I am.  Well, in the morning at least, Josh told him, continuing when he saw a curious look in Lances eyes, I told myself I was going to go to Leahs mothers grave one last time to say goodbye.  I really need closure.

Leahs mother? Lance asked, wanting more of the story.

Yeah, but how about I call you when I get home.  Then I can tell you everything.  I want to share my life with you, Lance.  I hope youll share youre too? Josh replied, hoping Lance would say yes.

Of course.  I want to know all about you, Lance said with a smile.

Ok then, Ill call you before lunch, Josh told him.

Ok, Lance replied, leaning towards Josh for one last kiss, sweet dreams, Josh.

You too, Lance, Josh said, waving as Lance got into the car and backed out of the driveway, you too.

He watched as Lance drove away and then turned to go back into the house with a smile on his face.  I think Lance is the one, he decided in his mind, hoping that he was right.
