The Diabolo:
The Diabolo is like a yo-yo with out
a string, you can toss it high in the air and do things with
it that you can't do with a regular yo-yo.
Getting the Diabolo Started:
(Instructions for right handers)
Start with the Diabolo to your right
adn roll it to the left and lift it of the ground to that
it is sitting on thye string sppining. Not to add spin and
keep it spinning you use your right hand. With your right
hand you pull your stick up 6-12" then drop it quickly back
down and then upll it up again. You keep doing this to keep
the diabolo spinning. The left hand just absorbs the shock.
Trouble Shooting
As you are working with the diabolo
it may gegin to tip towads or away from you, or you may need
to turn the diabolo. If it is tipping towards you push your
right stick away from you while you are pulling up with it.
your left hand does nothing. If it is tilting away from you.
You do the oposite, you pull your right stick towards you
as you lift it up. Again your left hand does nothing. To rotate
your diabolo you point your right stick straight up and grab
the string and raise your left hand high above your head.
You use the handle end of your right stick to touch the inside
of the rim of the cup facing you to rotate it clockwise and
on the inside of teh rim of the cup facing away from you to
rotate it counter-clockwise. After you rotate your diabolo
you may have readjust the tilt and speed your diabolo back
up.
