3. Seth R. (Toby)² TAYLOR (John N¹) was born on 10 Apr 1802 Germantown, Columbia County, New York.³ He was born on 10 May 1802 Dutch Reformed Church, Katsbaan, Ulster County, New York.² According to the 1840 census, he was born between 1811 and 1820.⁴ He married Lucinda (--?--).

He was enumerated on the 1840 census Lockport Village, Niagara County, New York, as Set TAYLOR. The census listed his household as one male under 5, one male 5-9, one male 20-29, one female under 5 (Laura was 5), and one female 20-29.⁴ The 1840 census lists an Orlo TAYLOR living in Lockport Village. He may be an older brother of Seth.⁵

The three known children of Seth R. (Toby)² TAYLOR and Lucinda (--?--) were as follows:

• 6. ii. A son TAYLOR. According to the 1840 census, he was born between 1831 and 1835.⁴

• 7. iii. Laura M. TAYLOR was born on 19 Mar 1835 Sandyhill, Washington County, New York.⁶ She married John Sylvester YOUNKER, son of Peter L. YOUNKER and Lucinda (--?--), on 11 Nov 1858 Coshocton County, Ohio.⁷ She died on 2 Feb 1884 at age 48.⁶

  She was enumerated with John Sylvester YOUNKER on the 1860 census Monroe Township, Coshocton County, Ohio, as Laura M. Yunker. She was listed as age 25, born in Ohio.⁸
