Cemetery Marker, Burris Cemetery, Mitchellville (SW of Bethany), Harrison County, Missouri (personal visit). Located in a field, behind the Mitchellville Church, owned by Claude COX. (Access is through private property.) From MO Hwy 136, go south on US Hwy 69 2.8 miles to Mitchellville Church, east .3 miles on W 347 St, south .3 miles on W187 Ave. The cemetery is in field to the west.
Cemetery Marker, Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchellville (SW of Bethany), Harrison County, Missouri (personal visit). From US Hwy 136, south on US Hwy 69 2.8 miles to W 347 St (Mitchelville Church is on the east side of the road), east .2 miles to Claude Cox Farm, north on private property, around barn, approximately .1 mile. Cemetery is located in the field to the west. In 1974 descendants of James M. MITCHELL collected the markers and placed them in a concrete foundation. It is surrounded by a chainlink fence.
