1 Jeremiah1 BARNETT was born circa 1785.1 He married Elizabeth "Betsy" DUMFORD, daughter of Daniel DUMFORD and Sarah "Sally" HORN, on 20 Dec 1803 in Clark County, Kentucky.2,1 He wrote a will on 20 Aug 1824. He died before Nov 1824 in Estill County, Kentucky.1 His will was probated in Nov 1824 in Estill County, Kentucky.3 He inventory of estate was settled in Nov 1832 in Estill County, Kentucky. He served in the War of 1812. He lived at Peach Tree Estate from 1813 to 1818. This 142-acre plantation is located on the Kentucky River and Clear Creek (south of Irvine) in Estill Co, KY. In is will, he left the plantation to his wife Elizabeth, a slave, Harry, to his son Hiram, and another slave, Mark, to his son Burgoyne. Also listed in the 1810 census of Estill Co, KY, was Henry BARNETT (born between 1784-1795). His household was listed as one male 16-25 and one male 16-25. He was enumerated on the 1810 census Estill County, Kentucky, as Jeremiah BARNETT. The census lists his household as two males under 10, one male 26-44, one female under 10, and one female 16-25.4 He is listed as head of household on the 1820 census Estill County, Kentucky, as Jeremiah BARNETT. The census listed his household as one male under 10, two males 10-15, one male 26-44, two females under 10, one female 10-15, and one female 26-44.5 Elizabeth "Betsy" DUMFORD was born after 13 Jan 1787. She married Joseph KNOTT after 1824.6 She died in Nov 1832 in Estill County, Kentucky.7 Daniel Dumford and Sary Dumford gave consent to their daughter, Elizabeth's, marriage to Jeremiah BARNETT. The 1920 census records him, age 77, living with his son David.18 His death certificate states he was born 15 Apr 1844, but since he was listed as nine years old in the 1850 Census, it seems probable he was born 15 Apr 1841. EATON. The census listed him as age 72, married. He was born in Iowa, both of his parents were born in Kentucky. He was not working and owned his home, free of mortgage. A year later, Lloyd and Essie also moved to Keith Co, and lived with Eli's family until their father arrived. Eli's daughter, Norma, and Lloyd's son Donald were born on the property in 1922. In the spring of 1923, he moved his family to Keith Co. The 10 known children of Sarah Elizabeth4 EATON and Winfred Hudson YOUNKER were as follows: 53 John Wesley4 EATON (Eli3, Sarah A.
