New Apple Menu Design and Features

Drag & Drop to add/remove folders/applications/documents and rearrange items. Items can only be added/removed under the applications, utilities, home, favorites, and other sub folders(these folders can't be removed only subfolders and items are customizable). Commands cannot be removed (ex. shutdown, launch, etc...) Drag to the trash to remove.

Get Mac OS X Software...- Link to the Mac OS X homepage.

Applications- Provides fast access to ALL the applications on your computer (except utilities) without taking up screen space.

Print Center...- Provides quick access to Print Center, essential when you want to stop/hold printing because of paper jams or to avoid printing mistakes.

Systems Preferences- Provides a submenu so you can access preference's faster. The Systems Preferences application can be opened as well, just select Systems Preferences from the Apple Menu and release the mouse.

Utilities- Creates a distintion between regular applications and allows fast access.

Dock- Change dock settings and switch between custom Dock Layouts

Home- View the contents of your Home folder and subfolder in submenus, quick and effciently.

Favorites- View the contents of your Favorites folder. To add Favorites simple drag and drop files, folders, etc... into the Favorites folder in the Apple Menu, the Favorites Folder in the Finder or select the Add to Favorites command from the Go Menu in the Finder.

Recent Items- Lists Recent Applications/Utilities and Documents corresponding to them. (Open the Application by selecting and releasing mouse) Example:
