Sometime late in August I answered an ad for a tempary job. A new Dollar Store was opening and they needed people to help set it up. I thought hey I had my own store for 14 years this is something I could do and make some extra money. The job was to last 10 days. I called the number and waited for a call back. When they did call I was told they had enough people. I was so bumed I really wanted this job. Three days later I got a call from the Dollar Store people. It seems no one has showed up yet and will I come right now. I dressed quickly and drove there. Only one other guy and the boss were there and they needed to unload a truck as more were on the way. Over the next few days the head guy and I got along fine and we chatted a lot about what I used to do., When he found out I used to own my own store he told me the owner was looking for workers and would I like a job?
He interduced me to the owner, I was offered a job. I was the only one to get a full time job and I soon made ast manager. This was the best job I could ever hope for. I look forword to going to it and hate leaving it to come home.
n  Dec. 24, 2003 we learned that Johns job may be ending soon. The company he works for had to rebid his services for the following year. We were told the final answer would be know by the first of the new year.  It seemed like a life time had to pass as we waited for an answer. Well his company did not get the contract to renew his job. We were in luck though and they offered him a job in Miami Florida. This meant a second major move in just over a year. That day he called me at work with the news was one of  the most trying days I had had in a long time. Both John and I did not really want to move again. We had growned to love Georgia and have made some very good friends here. Also it meant leaving a job I had a great future at and was well liked.
On Jan 12,2003 John reported for work in Miami Florida. We were seperated again because of his job. The plan was for him to return to Georiga at the end of the month and move us to Florida to be with him. While he was working there and me here in Georgia it was nearly impossiable for us to find a place to move to. Then the day came and he called to say he found an appartment. WAHOOO now we can move. The big day was set for Feb.7th, he flew back to Georgia and the mad rush to pack and move begun. We left Flowery Branch Georgia late on Feb.9th 2003. We stopped for the night and then arived at the new place in Miami on the 10th. It was so late we spent that first night in a motel. The new place is nice. Some of the rooms are bigger and some smaller then the old place.
We are together again under one one roof. Tomorrow will be our second Valentines Day together and soon we will mark 2 years of living together.
