JTF Promotions was created as a partnership between Katrina Walker and Crystal Roberts in 2002. It began after years of working together on Face the Music Fan Club and promotions. Both have an intense drive to succeed and to help further the careers of their clients. JTF Promotions is now gaining a great amount of experience and there is a lot of great things to come for this partnership. JTF Promotions is a small fan service and promotion company created, owned and run by Katrina Walker and Crystal Roberts. Together they share a decade of fan club experience; working as staff and owners of unofficial fan clubs for recording artists in various genres of the music industry (Pop and Latin). Both women also share an appreciation and enthusiasm for the promotions and entertainment fields. JTF Promotions was created in 2001 to assist in the promotion of artists in all aspects of the entertainment industry (daytime and primetime television, film, music and theater). They also want to create fan environments that have a very personal feel. The company is made up of hard working, dedicated and loyal individuals who believe in the talents of their current and future clients. Katrina, President and Co-founder of JTF Promotions, began her fan club journey in 1994 as Secretary and Co-founder of Face the Music Fan Club (which has been instrumental in supporting and helping promote the solo careers of the former members of NKOTB). In 1997 she became president of the fan club. While running Face the Music, she joined the staff of one of Ricky Martin?s largest fan clubs in 1996 (serving as the Promotions Director then Member Services Director). She remained on staff until 2000 when she began groundwork on what was to become JTF Promotions. In 2003, she was one of three webmasters who headed the ?Save Boomtown? campaign. Katrina has an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Cuyahoga Community College (Cleveland, Ohio). When she moved to California she continued her education by enrolling in courses at Fullerton College. She did well in her music business, advertising and public relations and publicity classes; as well as discovered her passion for the craft and entertainment field. ?JTF Promotions is my pride and joy! I decided to start this company because I truly enjoy the creative aspect of fan clubs and promotion. I also felt that we could do a great service to people in the entertainment industry. I have such a respect for artist and the work they do, this is my way of helping them share their talent with the world? Aside from running a small company, Katrina works as a General Supervisor (who wears many hats) for a real estate appraisal company in Cypress, California. She enjoys reading, listening to all kinds of music, going to the movies and concerts and still follows all of the Cleveland sports teams; as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. She is also a huge fan of daytime dramas. Her parents and younger sister reside in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. |

Crystal Roberts: |

|
Crystal, Vice President and Co-founder, has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Design (with an emphasis in Media Arts) from California State University, Chico. She has always aspired to work in the Entertainment Industry and dreams of working her way into a career of Artist Management. She has always felt that ?true talent is worth promoting to the fullest? and being the second half of JTF Promotions is her way of making sure that happens. Currently, Crystal is the Promotion Director and Vice President of Face The Music Fan Club. Her responsibilities include aspects of fan club/artist promotions, including newsletters, online fan groups, and promotional campaigns. It is also her responsibility to keep and maintain a good business relationship with all related media, management and record labels. Gaining experience has always been very important to Crystal. While in college she was an active member of Alpha Chi, the oldest sorority on the Chico State campus. She held positions such as; Public Relations Chair, Philanthropy Chair, and Rush Party Head. Her experience in Alpha Chi allowed her to strengthen many skills and become a stronger person. Furthermore, Alpha Chi instilled in her many principles in which she brings into her work for JTF Promotions. Crystal was born and raised in Daly City (Bay Area), California. Her parents and younger brother have always been and continue to be her biggest supporters. ?My family is my strength, they believe in me, and that makes me work that much harder?. Crystal has helped to promote artists such as Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Emanuel Kiriakou. From online & street promotion to hosting small performances, all of the work that she has done for these artists has taught her a great deal. The inspiration these artists give to her is why doing promotion is so rewarding for her. After all, helping to further the careers of talented individuals is what JTF Promotions is all about. |
