Well, if you're here, you're either a friend of mine, or someone who is really, really bored. Anyways, I don't want to bore you with with details, but after all this is a personal homepage....Want juicy details? Check out the journal...

Well, to start, I am a young adult/working professional in Chicago. Currently I'm a contractor at Kraft Foods doing Level 2 site support, a desktop support technician. I've been here since September of 2001. I started post-college life at Braun Consulting, where I was doing Oracle applications implementation for 7 months, before I got laid off in March 2001. I did various things from substitute teaching, to temping, to collecting unemployment, before latching on here at Kraft. I went to school at the University of Michigan, enrolled in the College of Engineering, majoring in Industrial and Operations Engineering. My family lives in South Bend, IN. Before then we lived in Rochester Hills, MI for seven years, Portage, MI for one, and Moore, OK for ten years.

I have an older sister, Jeanne, who is in law school at Hofstra University on Long Island and a younger sister, Cindy who is at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. In 1996, I graduated from Rochester HS.

During my first year at Michigan, I feel I learned a lot about myself, other people, and life in general. First semester was pretty hectic, both academically and socially. I was exposed to the difficulty of university-level courses, and the social pressures that accompany ones' first year in college. Idid survive, though, without too many battle scars, and came out a smarter person, not just in calculus, computer programming, or thermodynamics, but in common sense as well.

Some of my interests include sports, especially basketball and bowling, computers, guitar, and lots of other things I can't think of. Basketball is my favorite sport; I play it, watch it, learn it, read it, anything you can think of. I was also well on my way to becoming a regular on the PBA Tour when my mother made me join Metropolitan Youth Symphony in seventh grade, thus ending any hopes of a professional bowling career. Darn.

One place that did help me was at church. See my Faith page for more details.

This is now my 4th year at the University, and I am astounded at how fast the time has gone by. As my 7th semester draws to a close, I find myself often in a nostalgic, sentimental mood. I have met so many people, developed so many relationships, learned so much about myself, about God, about the world, and now it's all coming to an end. Quite sad in some ways. In other ways, it's exciting to now go out into this world and see what's out there.
