~*~ Right By Your Side Chapter Three ~*~

JT Hellstrom
JT stared at Colleen. She looked so helpless, just laying there.
"Colleen. It's me, JT. I am so sorry. I can't believe this happened. It was all my fault. I should have done more to protect you. I should have tried to prevent it more. I love you so much. You have to wake up. You have to."
He sighed. He grabed her hand and squeezed it.
"Colleen. We just got back together. You gave me a second chance after all the stupid things I've done. Please just do one more thing for me. Wake up. I need you more than I've ever needed anyone before. I can't live without you. I love you so much. Please wake up."
JT sighed and put his head down on her lap and then he felt a squeeze in his hand.
"Colleen. Omg. Your awake. I am so sorry. I love you so much." He quickly hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. "How are you feeling."
"Do I know you?" she asked. JT looked at her. She was starring at him with a very puzzled look on her face.
"Colleen. It's me! JT Hellstrom. Your boyfriend?"
"I'm sorry, I don't have a boyfriend nor do I know you."
"Colleen. You have to remember. You have to remember me. I love you. And you love me. Do you remember anything from the past year?"
"Of course. I dance ballet and I live in New York with my mom and Steve. Do you know them?"
"Colleen, that was before. You moved to Genoa City this year. You live with your dad, Brad Carlton and his wife Ashley and your sister, Abby."
"No. Your wrong. You have to be. I couldn't forget that."
"Colleen. Your in a hospital. Do you know how you got here?"
"No... i have a terrible headache. I don't know where I am or anything."
Colleen started to cry. I put my arm around her and squeezed her as I gave her a kiss on the cheek. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Colleen. Everything's going to be okay. Your going to fight through this. Your the strongest person I know. You will remember."
"I don't remember you, but I'm starting to believe I really did love you. You sure know how to make a girl feel better."
"Colleen. I promised you earlier today that I would always protect you and be there for you when you need me and I am going to stay true to that promise. I am going to stick through this with you and stay right by your side. I'm not going anywhere."
"I wish I remembered you."
"Oh, you will in time. Everythings going to fine. I promise." I says.
Just then the door flew open. It was Colleen's father and grandfather with the doctor.
"JT! Get away from my daughter. The doctor has just filled me in on Colleen's condition. She has suffered severe head trauma with temporaray memory loss. She needs some time to rest." Brad says.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Carlton. I was just-"
"Trying to get her to remember you I presume?"
"Well, yeah."
"How much does she remember?"
"She thinks she's still living in New York." Brad went to sit down on Colleen's bed.
"Colleen, honey. I know you don't remember much but I'm your real father, Brad Carlton. You do remember, don't you?"
"I'm kind of tired. I just want to rest. Do you guys mind?" Colleen said softly.
"No, of course not, sweetie." Her grandfather, John says. The three of us left the room.
"JT. I'm not going to question you right now what happened out there because its been a long night but I do trust you to tell me everything in the morning."
"I will." Brad nodded and him and John went into the waiting room.
JT snuck back into his hospital room and laid down. They would let him go in the morning and then he could spend some more time with Colleen. He had to get her remember. He just had to.
