My next mission is to be cooperation, but this is going to be a life long process. The JTAT will be most successful if each one of us works actively together. Each officer/member has a part in the organization, which is a living organism, and we must carry out our tasks. I don’t know any word to express my appreciation, but to say “thank you, Kumahata-sensei, Bolinger-sensei, Makita-sensei, O’Donnell sensei and her private secretary for carrying out the tasks so excellently. We wouldn’t be here without your help. I also want to the members to know that some of you have encouraged us with your advice, cooperation and positive inputs given to us. My dream for the JTAT is to be a great family-like organization, members helping members even in the remotest part of Texas.

In the past, we have been semi-officially meeting at a restaurant to transfer the office during the TFLA conference. I would like to use this time to be the official transfer time. Past officers will be still in power until the August 31. Official transfer of the office will be at the Fall TFLA Conference, usually in October. Between the period of August 31 and October conference, past officers and new officers may indoctrinate and transfer the business individually.
Thank you for your trust in me.
Have a safe and restful summer.
