| This is a pretty inane & goofy poem, but another that i kinda like for some odd reason. I was thinking of small-town high school basketball when i wrote this - the "nemesis" would be the rival school's star player, i guess. |
A smattering of boos, A melee ensues; A thug is in town To steal the crown. He snarls and spits But he never quits; He covets a prize With those snarling eyes. He punches and fights Through day and night And the fans leave town All with a frown. Hes used his nasty way To win it all today. Despite everyones feeble cries He leaves town with the vaunted prize. |
