AEH

This is the first of a series of poems about (usually) girls i'd been dumped by in which the first letter of each line spells out their name (see --). Amy was my first love. Sigh.
{That thud you just heard were my nuts falling off.}

Another loss in this life of mine
Many more, Im sure in time
Young to old, one last line

Every bit of love, stripped
Life, ripped
Inside and out left with
Zip
Everything good a myth
Beware the fifth
Either sad or alone
This was a permanent loan
Home alone-away to moan

However much I want to try
Again to fly
Young to old, one last cry
Where now am I to go
Another town, another show
Really low, really low
Death and the by and by
