Terry's carpin' (but mostly Tench) Page
CARP@(the)WWW. This page is dedicated my long time fishing mate Terry F, we both started off on the famous wheel pond with match rods, and maggots, but some where along the way he went to the wrong side of carp fishing>>>Tench Fishing.
Although he is an excellent Tench Fisherman i thought i would make it my work to convert him to the evil world of Carp Fishing, this so far is going well, but he still sneaks the odd Tench session in which is totally unacceptable.
Although he has been fishing 3 years+ he has never caught a Carp, he was not bothered about this until his ex pupil John caught a 17lb carp after his second carpin' trip. This Carp has inflicted a "fishing war" between the once two best friends, this war has motivated both parties to either be thinking about carp fishing or actually doing it! Ah my job has been done here, as the "Carp Bug" has well and truly set in to both of the once Tench Fisherman!
Terry F is the second edition to the carpin' crew, but i wouldn't worry to much; one of them can't even catch carp so it's not much of a "carpin' crew"!
Recent carp fishing exploits include a weekend blank (ha, ha!), this was very funny because the first night he only arrived at the lake at 11:00pm! So he had to set up in the dark, and then the next night I managed to freak him out about aliens, so he took down his bivvy and put it behind mine, ha I laughed because he is quite hard but I managed to reduce him to a quivering wreck with talk about aliens biting into the back of my head. I can't take the p*ss too much because he thought he could hear something in the woods behind him......... who am i kidding, i'm still laughing about it weeks later! I am hear to help! Get you away from tench and in to the evil ways of carp!!! I have not been carp fishing for long and i did not have much success but i am the Tench king, the lord, the master and the massieur (well you get the idea don't you). Ive been on numoruous fishing trips recently but i had a lack of gear (i.e. i was using tench rods) this meant that i lost alot of carp to snags in the local clay pit called Abbrook. But James the webmaster is helping me to realise the errors of my ways and i know have a set of Carp rods and i intend to become the leader of the carpin' crew! I will be implementing my secret baits and secret rigs that will break the boundaries of modern day carp fishing. The webmaster of this site is significantly better than any of the current carpin' crew members. But we are all good, apart from the fact that two of us can barely catch Carp for now.
