Basilica di San Marco
St. Mark's Basilica. Some might be familiar with the story of how St. Mark's body was smuggled out of Alexandria in a pork barrel and entombed here. The doors officially open at 9:30 am, but lines begin forming around 8 am. Things to see here are the marvelous golden mosaics around the entire interior and the famous statue of the four horses, Triumphal Quadriga.
