Piazza della Signoria
This "Square of our Lordship" is definitely the busier of the two centers of Florence, the other being Santa Maria del Fiore. Surrounded by the Palazzo Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi, and a loggia containing replicas of famous statues, this public square bustles with people at any time of the day.
A busy corner of the square, including the loggia, seen from the Palazzo Vecchio
Placed where the original once stood, right outside the Palazzo Vecchio. Not nearly as detailed as the original
Replica of David, Michelangelo
Fountain of Neptune (Fontana di Nettuno)
Another fountain of Neptune, guarded by stone lions
Statue seen at night. Unfortunately, there were no lights around the statues
