Brothers:
Only three months till our 16th annual golf outing. Here's hoping everyone has started to make their plans on attending June 7th. Chuck Boylan contacted Tam-o-Shanter's last week, and we have reservations for 32 golfers. The cost will be the same as last year, $40.00. The course is located in Hermitage PA, right off the interstate. If you golf or don't golf, plan on attending either way. Currently we're open for suggestions on an event after the outing, please contact me with your preference.
John Farrar sent an email that he's made reservation for Duck and himself at the Comfort Inn near the golf course for Friday and Saturday night. He said they still have some open rooms for that weekend. As I mentioned in the last newsletter, the Comfort Inn did have rooms available for both nights. The cost of the room per night, is around $89.00 plus tax, and they do have a 50+ mature traveler rate (I think some of us now qualify). The phone number is 724-342-7200, and web address is www.comfortinn.com/ . If you make reservations there, let me know , so I can try and steer everyone towards the same hotel.
In last months newsletter, I mentioned the Theta Chi Circle of Brotherhood. It's a social networking site similar to MYspace or Face book, but strictly for Theta Chi members. Recently I sent out a sneak preview of the Zeta Alpha's video "When we were Young." It has some great photo's set to music, and has received some excellent comments. Ron Rusnak checked in, and enjoyed the video. "Wow what memories" was his comment after watching the video.
Last month, Dan Van Wie had almost complete his search on finding some missing brothers, but was still missing a few. We were able to locate Gary Eckert. Gary is living in Plano Texas and still married to Claudia (Spilatro). Gary wrote that Gary Powell is living in Maryland and is still married to Jamie (Fraumholtz). In the last couple days I've been in contact with Terrance (Whimpy) Dibert, He's living in Chicago. He wanted to say hello to everyone. He enjoyed the video and photo's from the golf outings. He'd like to get back for a golf outing.
