I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Chilhood/Elementary Education from UW-Whitewater. I am certified by the State of Wisconsin to teach preschool to grade six. Once I finish my Master's Degree I will be certified to teach reading in grades 1-12.
I enjoy reading, playing with my cats, going to the beach and spending time with my friends. I started JS Reading Services, because it is a way for me to combine two of my passions; reading and working with children.
I am currently a member of Wisconsin State Reading Association and the International Reading Association. I have been an active participant in regional and international reading conferences.

Network Administrator - Connects families with assessors and tutors. Recives information requests and maintains the website.
Assessor - Has the know how to complete the the assements to complete the Reading Improvement Plan. The requirements to be an assessor are to have a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a teaching license and be working towards a Master's Degree in Reading.
Tutor - Tutors are degreed and licensed teachers who will carry out the Reading Improvement Plan when an assessor cannot do so.
