am a
linguist
specializing in discourse, sociolinguistics, and linguistic
anthropology. I received my Ph.D. in Linguistics from University of
California, Santa Barbara. After teaching at Northern Arizona
University and
University of Macau, I am now working at the English Department of
National University of Singapore.
