that since the application is an extraordinary event it must be understood that pain is not the normal aspect of life but rather joy is. that humility like pain is something to be learned but not to be lived, pride is. that the true test of individuality comes from standing out from a group of equally brilliant people. that there was once a time wherein we were judged according to our abilities and not by our needs, if this never happens again in our lives, at least we already know what we can and cannot do. that compliments are never meant to satiate us to stagnation but rather to drive us higher until compliments are no longer necessary. that perfection does not come from not making any mistakes but rather in not making the same mistake twice. that failures will always be magnified because achievements are to be expected. that work is the noblest thing in the world because it leads to creation. that there is no such thing as lousy work only a lousy worker. that we carry sets and post posters precisely because next time we will not carry sets and post posters anymore. We would have missed the chance of knowing the satisfaction of dirt in our fingernails and sweat in our faces. that to judge other people is to be fair when we say that we are disappointed with them and to be honest when we say that we are proud of what they did. that people who claim they do not judge others are those with absolutely no standards. that sometimes it is impossible to separate the person from his actions. that to love completely does not mean to lose oneself completely, rather it is an affirmation that you are worthy enough to love and be loved. that love, like any value, has to be earned, as each and every Asser, as each and every Asser still tries to do every single moment of their lives.
