A Year of Favor
This next twelve months
(July 20, 2001-July 19, 2002) will be a year of unprecedented,
unparalleled favor of God upon your life. It will be unlike any
other year you have ever had in your whole existence, in every
single area of your litc in your relationship with God, ministry
and calling, church, family, marriage, kids, family line, jobs,
finances, community, and in battle.
A Day of Vengeance
This will be a year of breakthrough. You will get revenge
on the enemy for everything he's ever done. God will turn your
captivity into a ministry. Take back previous prophecies because
the answer is still, "Yes". God will restore what the
enemy has stolen.
Actions Needed
1. Don't wait. Be diligent.
Don't treat this lightly or casually.
2. Go for it with all your heart. God overboard. You're allowed.
Work out your own
framework of response and don't deviate.
3. Believe and set yourself to receive it. Every singe day, every
single situation you
come in, you go in to pray, "Father, I know I've got favor
in these circumstances,
what should I do?"
4. Encourage one another.
5. Walk through neighborhoods. Pray for God's favor to be manifest.
6. Stand firm. Fight in groups. Face battles with joy.
7. Be creative. Anything goes.
8. Cooperate with the Holy Spirit, and make every adjustment required.
9. Submit to the purposes of God.
Take advantage of the grace of
God that is being offered unto you.
This is a year of
unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God.

I have been in prophetic ministry since 1973, running schools of prophecy in lots of different countries, and I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times l've had a prophetic word of this magnitude. You know, some prophets may only get one such word in the whole of their life. Other prophets may never get such a word.
I had this word for two years before the Lord let me share it, and everywhere I have shared this word it is like revival has broken out. We've seen exponential growth in churches. We've seen the power of God break through in powerful ways. We've seen lives totally and utterly transformed. I am basing it out of a word in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 61.
lsaiah 61:1-7(3)
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed(4) me to preach good tidings unto the meek (5) {afflicted (6, 7)}; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable7 {favorable} year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for {a garland instead of } ashes, the oil of joy for of mourning, the garment { mantle} of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness {fainting}. So they will be called trees {oaks} of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
Then they will rebuild the old wastes {ancient ruins}, they will raise up the former desolations {devastations}, and they will repair the waste {ruined} cities, the desolations of many generations. And strangers shall stand andieed {pasture} your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. Ye shall be called the priests of the LORD; men shall call you the Ministers of our God. Ye will eat the riches of the Gentiles twealth of nations}, and in their glory {riches} shall ye boast yourselves.
For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess the double-everlasting joy shall be unto them. Isaiah 61:1-7 (KJV).
A Year of Unprecedented, Unparalleled
Favor of God
I believe that the Lord
is saying to you that this next twelve months will be a year
of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God upon your life.
This next twelve months will be a year unlike any other year you
have ever had in your whole existence. It will be a year of unprecedented,
unparalleled favor of God where you will have favor in every single
area of your life. That means favor in your relationship with
God. We talked this afternoon about what it is that you are sighing
about right now, because that indicates what God's going to do
next.
Relationship with God
Let me tell you right now
that your relationship with God(8) is going off the graph,
off the charts in the next twelve months. Whatever it is that
you need, whatever it is that you want from God, whatever it is
that you want out of your relationship with God, the Lord is saying,
"I have opened a highway in front of you. You can go as far
and as fast as high as you want to go because there are absolutely
no restrictions in front of you."
Whatever it is that God has called you to, or your ministry involvement with the Holy Spirit, you should know that in your ministry, in your calling, there is an anointing of God upon you that will take you into places that you've never even dreamt you'd be going spiritually or physically. There is an anointing that God has set aside for your ministry and your calling that will be outrageous when you compare it to what you have right now. This is a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God.
Church
This is a year when the
anointing on your church will exponentially increase. This
is a year of corporate anointing so profound that it will
be sometimes like an open heaven in your meetings. The Lord says,
"Whatever you might do to get together and collectively
dream about together, you wouldn't even hit the mark of
what I have really got planned for you."
Family
This is a year of unprecedented,
unparalleled favor of God. lt's a year of God's favor on your
family. It's a year of favor on your marriage. Whatever
marriage difficulties you're having, the Lord is saying to you,
this year, if you believe, He will reconnect you, and it will
be like it was at the beginning- the romance, the love, the favor,
the kindness. For your marriage, a year of unprecedented, unparalleled
favor.
For your kids, this is a year of unprecedented favor of God upon your family. It's a year the prodigals will return. God is going to reach out as you pray(9), as you believe, as you come, and as you put their names on the altar of God and say, "Lord, please, this year." It'll be a year when God will begin to touch the hearts of children that are far away from Him. And He will begin to move upon their hearts. He'll pursue them like the hound of heaven. There is no escape from the mercy and the glory of God. It doesn't matter how far they go, how far they've fallen, where they are, the Lord is saying this is a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor upon you family. And not just your immediate family, but your family line. Whatever curses have been upon your family can be removed this year.
Job & Finances
It's a year of unparalleled,
unprecedented favor of God in your jobs. If you've ever
been passed over for a promotion, if you've ever not made a raise,
if you're finding it difficult to make sales, the Lord is saying
to you, this is a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of
God. When you go out to make deals, pray for the favor of
God. Pray for your company, that the favor of God will be upon
them. It doesn't matter what economic down turn
America is going experience, you're going to experience the opposite.
Pray for your company, pray for your business, because this is
a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God. You are the
people of God, and you get to prosper when other people are not.
That's how everyone knows that the favor of God is upon you. They
may be subject to the economic vagaries of life, but we are not
because we are the people of God, and we are living in the favor
of God. There's prosperity in your jobs, in your
finances. And the Lord says this is a year to give like
you've never given before, and He will give to you pressed
down shaken together and running over.
Beloved, it's not like after twelve months the tap is going to turn off. This twelve months is catch-up is about you getting back on track with where you should have always been living.
Favor in Community
So what's today? Today is

. So, from this date, through one year from now, is a year of
unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God. Favor upon favor upon
favor upon favor upon favor upon favor upon favor upon favor upon
favor upon favor upon favor. So much favor that you will not be
able to contain it. It will spill out into your family, it will
spill out into your community, and everyone who walks
around you will get an overspill of favor in their life.
A Day of Vengeance
But guess what? It's also
about a day of vengeance-365 days of vengeance. God's going
to break the yoke this year. The favor of God upon you
will cause you to come into such a place with God that you
will get revenge on the enemy for everything he's ever done.
So listen, you know personally, I would make a list,
because I want payback for everything. I want payback with interest-thank
you very much. You know God will turn your captivity into a
ministry. Whatever your struggles have been, there's a spirit
of breakthrough this year. Whatever your past history this
is a year of jubilee, this is a year of breakthrough. This
is a year when you'll break out, you'll break in, and you'll break
through on the right hand and on the left. Whatever has oppressed
your marriage or family will be broken. Wherever you've been a
victim, God will make you a hero in that very same area.
This is revenge big time. Whatever previous prophecies have been spoken over you the Lord says to you, "This year take these words back; because the answer is still, 'Yes!"'
God will restore what the locust has eaten. God will restore what the enemy has stolen. This is a year of revenge; it's a year of payback on the enemy. It's also for many of us the beginning of a new ministry.
From this date, twelve months from hence, this is a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God where there will be grace upon grace upon grace upon grace upon grace upon grace upon us, because in this year you're going to understand what the nature of God is really like.
Don't Wait
Beloved, this is a holy
moment; you don't want to waste this time. I'll
tell you something-if you're stupid, it will be possible for you
to go through this year and not experience a tenth of what God
want to give you. You need to take this word 365 days,
not just the next few weeks. Don't let go of this word.
We've wasted opportunities in the past. This is a year designed
to get you back on track with God.
So if I were you, if you were really sensible, you would make adjustments really early on. Get revenge in the next couple of months. Get yourself totally sorted out in the next two months, then you've got ten months after that to enjoy what God's going to do with you. Don't wait! I'm serious. I'm as serious as a heart attack. Don't wait! Don't wait! Don't treat this lightly or casually; go to war with it. Every single day think favor. Every single day, every single situation you come in, you go into it saying, "Father, I know I've got favor in these circumstances, what should I do?" Every single thing, every single day for the next twelve months-until it gets into your mind that this is the way you should be living-until you are so soaked in the spirituality of this you cannot change, until your mindset is so set on the favor and goodness of God it is impossible foryou to be any different.
That is what this year is about. It is a year that you can have your mind totally renewed and you live in the awesome favor of God every day for the rest of your life. You need to be diligent and give yourself to this.
Encourage One Another
Again, if you're sensible,
get in groups. Get together as groups of friend and
families and encourage each other, chide each other-don't let
each other drop below a level of favor. Keep on and on and on
and on untU the blessing is so great you're going to have to keep
giving it away. But even then, don't stop, keep pressing
in, keep pressing in, because there is territory to gain. Because
this is not just about you, this is about your community. This
is about you being so chock full of favor in your household that
the whole of the people on your street are going to get the overflow.
This is about your house being so full of the presence of God,
people are going to knock on your door and ask for help. There's
an overflow. You are going to win the hearts of your enemies.
You're going to win the hearts of people around you. This
is about your being so full of the blessing of God your whole
community gets touched.
Becoming A People of Promise
This is a year of unprecedented,
unparalleled favor of God, when you will become a people of
promise. And the promise here in this passage is that you
will have a garland, instead of ashes. Life won't taste
like dust in your mouth. There'll be a fragrance there. You'll
have the oil of gladness for mourning. What does that mean?
It means you'll never be miserable again. It means there's
oil of gladness upon you. There's a glad heart, a glad eye, a
glad ear. You're a person of glad tiding. People are glad to see
you.
It means there's a mantle of praise for the spirit of heaviness. What does that mean? It means that whatever oppressive spirit is over you or over your community you are going to replace it with a mantle of praise. And it means that you're going to be an oak of righteousness that's planted by the Lord in that community, and people are going to come to congregate under your shade. It means that other people will bless you abundantly. It means that you will be called priests and ministers of God. It means that you will be able to use for kingdom purposes the prosperity that God flows on you. It means you will have a double portion where there was once shame.
It means there are going to be days when you just shout for sheer joy for what God is doing. It means you'll have a double portion in the land. What does that mean? It means you'll have a double portion in your community-that God is going to have an investment in your community. And this joy that you have is not going to be transient, it's going to be everlasting. Some of us need to be trained to be joyful. It's true. Some of us find it so easy to be flipping miserable, but God's going to train you to be joyful. You've got to realize that this joy is everlasting, because God is the happiest person I've ever met in my entire life. What that means is, it doesn't matter what the enemy throws at us we just stand there and grin, because we know something he doesn't know. We're fighting a good fight and we aren't losing. See, you're going to get this new testimony about the nature of God. The yoke is going to snap through the anointing.
Community Restoration
Where is all this leading?
A spirit of restoration will be upon you and you will rebuild
the ancient ruins. You will raise up the devastated areas.
You know what that means for us back home? It means that we walk
through neighborhoods that have been devastated and blighted
by crime. We've seen the crime rate drop. We do drive by blessings
through that neighborhood. I'll tell you, we walk around the city
with a vial of oil. We're like some kind of charismatic cats;
we're marking territory everywhere we go. We're spraying this
thing everywhere. If I see a waste of a piece of ground it makes
me snarl, so I go up there and I mark that territory and I walk
all around it and I pray, "Please God, build a factory here."
I write to companies in Southampton and I say, "If you'll
take up this piece of land and build an extension to your premises,
God will bless you with contracts that you never thought you would
get." I write to them all. They all think I'm weird, but
I don't care. Some of them have called me in and said, "What
do you mean?" And I've said, "I'm serious. God hates
unemployment. If you will take that piece of ground and build
an addition to your factory premises, He will make sure that you
get enough business to easily fill it." Those guys have gone
for it, and their testimony is, (these are non-Christians) "We've
got contracts that we didn't even go for. People have called us
up and said, 'Will you tender for this contract?"' Strange
things are happening.
I walk all around the area. If there are places I don't like, I close them down. I go to sex shops in the middle of the night and I mark them with oil and I curse them. I walk around places. Why? Because there is only one territorial spirit and his name is Jesus. God is the one true great original territorial spirit. He is the one who marked out Israel's territory from the Euphrates down to the great sea, from this mountain range to the plain. What is that? That is a territorial spirit in action. The enemy is just a copy. Our youth church, Sublime, has nicknamed the enemy "Rank Xerox", because all he ever does is make a copy of everything. He can't do anything original because he can't create. He has no power to create. Our God is the one, true, great, original territorial spirit. Check out the inheritance he gave to Israel, to the tribes. It is extremely detailed. That is a territorial spirit in action. The enemy is just a copy.
We walk around our community and we spray it with oil and we pray and we've seen the crime rate drop and we've seen unemployment drop. We're seeing, now, money come in from central government to repaint subdivisions that are totally rundown. We've seen amazing things happen. In one city in the north of England, 20,000 Christians got together for two weeks in one area and totally spruced up the whole place. And while they were there not a single crime was committed; and in the five months since then, not one single crime has been committed in that region. We are the people of God. It is time for us to behave like it. God is going to reinvest in your community.
Whatever breakthrough you need to receive personally, you'll be able to move in it personally and corporately, because this is a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God upon your life.
Spirit of Revival
See, in all of that what's going to happen? When you give yourself
to this for the next 365 days
continuously, a spirit of revival will come upon you. I
tell you, all around the earth, such favor is flowing out of heaven
to the body of Christ, and this favor is going to stir up the
spirit of revival to produce that end time prototype church. There
is favor upon us to bring us into line with the purposes of
God. There is favor to re-clothe us in the greatness of God
and in the majesty and the supremacy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Then we can take our place on the front lines in our community
and in our society-and do it happily-with a grin, because we're
fighting a good fight here.
In all of that we're going to rebuild the waste places,
we're going to rebuild the ruined cities,
there will be no no-go areas for the church. No where is safe
from a blessing. Nobody is safe from a blessing where we are concerned,
because we know how to live in unprecedented, unparalleled favor
of God.
Favor for Victory in Battle
I'll tell you, beloved, warfare if coming. Understand,
the enemy is going to contest the ground,
and that's okay because God is going to allow that for the express
purpose of you coming into your own spirit of victory. The enemy
will contest the ground but he won't be able to take any ground
because you're reclaiming all the territory that should belong
to you. So when the enemy fights against you, you've got favor
to get revenge. And if you stand, if you press
in, you'll get it. That's why it's better to fight
in groups. The favor of God will hold up your arms so
we prevail against the enemy. And we're going to raise up in this
time spiritual warriors who've got favor with God. Your warfare
will no longer be concerned to simply fight and survive; but you'll
become a people strong enough to take ground back.
Your inheritance is forming over
your heads, and it is going
to form in your hearts, because
heaven is coming down. There are going to be some hard battles
ahead, but you'll face them with joy because the
favor of God is going to guarantee a victory the like of which
you've never seen. This is the year of your rising. This is the
year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God. This year you're
supposed to take ground personally and corporately.
Divine Acceleration
If you give yourself to this there will be a
divine acceleration that will take place. As you learn to
stand and press in with your friends, this year will take
on shape. As you believe and as you make room
for favor to live in your heart and as you cooperate
with the Holy Spirit, you will be radically changed into another
man and another woman. What God is doing, is raising up
ordinary people who will be involved with an extraordinary God.
Application -Declaration-Proclamation
This year will begin in supplication, but it will end
in declaration of all that God has done. And
all that declaration will lead you into a place of proclamation
against the enemy. We can't proclaim from this present place.
We can make supplication. But the days are going to change us.
We're going to find ourselves maybe spending less time in supplication
and more time in declaration. More time in proclaiming to the
enemy. Favor is come to get us off our knees and into the front
lines with a shout of praise on our lips. This is a year when
God is going to train you for reigning. You're going to
stop hanging about in the back of church and come to the forefront
of battle because we have this joy of unprecedented, unparalleled
favor upon us.
I tell you, if you will submit to the purposes of God,
and make every adjustment required by the Holy Spirit,
there will be an unprecedented, unparalleled year of favor in
your life. A quickening spirit will take hold of you.
A Holy Moment
Beloved, this cannot
be just a casual response. This is a time like you
read of in Nehemiah 8, after the rebuilding of the walls of
Jerusalem when everyone came together in the presence of God and
stood in the rain and listened to the word of God and wept and
God moved upon them. This is a time like that.
This is a time like unto the dedication of the Temple in I Kings 8, when the presence of God filled the house and no one could stand. When the last thing you heard before you became unconscious, was the sound of the drummer falling through his kit. This is a year like unto that. This is a time like unto that.
This is a time like unto the day of Pentecost. This is that kind of a time. This is that kind of a holy moment.
Go for lt!
Take advantage of the
grace of God that is being offered unto you.
This is a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God. Beloved,
this is a holy moment. Don't treat this casually. Watch
over this word strategically. What must we do? If you
consider that the Holy Spirit is saying to your heart, "This
is right. This is for you." Then you have to go for
it with all your heart. And you have to go for it every
single day for twelve month. And there will come a time
when you'll forget about the twelve months, because you're in
it and you're living it, and you're doing it, and that's the whole
point of it! Set your(self) to receive it personally,
in your family, with your wife, with your kids, with your friends
and with your church. Don't go for this in measure, go for
it in fullness. Go over the top. Go overboard. You're
allowed.
Work out your own framework of response and don't deviate. Every single day hit the favor. Take the full measure of revenge. Every family must have a spirit of breakthrough and learn together how to abide in the favor of the Lord In our friendships, encourage and support one another. Don't settle for anything less than fullness.
Sometimes you'll need to bully one another. "Don't you dare settle for anything less."
"Okay."
In Times of Trouble, Pray!
The favor will be strongest
in days of trouble and opposition, because the enemy is going
to attack you over this. He's going to contest the ground, but,
I'll tell you now, the favor will be strongest in the day of trouble.
So, when things get black, get all of your friends around
and pray!
In one particular church I prophesied this word, there was one family in that church that was so dysfunctional (husband and two sons, a wife and two daughters). The girls were always sick, and the guys were always out of work. Never enough money. Debts piling up. Antagonistic. Totally dysfunctional. I took 400 people around their house. I charged each of the 400 people $5.00 each, which made an immediate cash give of $2,000.00, which wiped out their immediate debt. The 400 people surrounded the house inside and out. We had people all up the stairs, in the bedroom, standing on the toilet, and in the shower stalls. People were jammed in everywhere. And I said, "At 8:00 p.m. we're all going to speak in tongues for one hour without stopping."
After 20 minutes the husband let out this bellow and got delivered of an evil spirit. After 40 minutes the girls got healed. In fact, loads of people got healed that evening. No one prayed. You see, we had 400 people in agreement. One heart, one spirit, one voice, and one mind. That family has never been the same since. All the guys got jobs, they've all been healthy, all been givers, and it's just outrageous what God is doing through that family.
We're taking no prisoners this year. Be creative, because you have a year of unprecedented, unparalleled favor where anything goes and the answer is probably going to be "Yep! And Amen!"
Promote the Blessing
Fight a good fight. Fight
it joyfully, knowing that
favor guarantees your victory. In your cell groups in homes,
promote the blessing. Leave nothing untouched. Disciple one another
in how to live in abundance and favor. One person showing another
how to break through. One family showing another how to break
through. Those who are leaders pursue this in training. Let the
intercessors get hold of it, let the prophetic people get hold
of it. Let the worship people write songs about it. Because
the upshot of all this is that there will be a total breakdown
of the work of the enemy in your community, and there will be
a total increase of the work of God and the presence of the Holy
Spirit in your midst. You will have favor with the wider churches,
you'll have favor with local government. People are going to support
your ministry. You will have favor for salvation. You will touch
the community, and the ultimate revenge is that you'll have a
full-blown revival in your midst. This is a year of radical change.
There is a Price
But beloved, it comes
with a price. And the price is this: you cannot go back
to mediocrity. You can't go back to a poverty spirit.
You can't go back to a Christian life that is less than glorious.
You have to sow into this time of favor. This is a year
to give like you've never given before. It's not
just about receiving-it's about overflowing. Give yourself
to God. Giveyour self to one another. Don't withhold anything
from the Lord. Give financially, give your time, give your energy,
because you are going to have masses and masses and masses of
favor. Put your self in a place where the favor can keep
flowing. Tackle everything with favor. Every single day, every
hour of every day think favor, think favor, think favor.
You may sow in tears, but you'll reap in laughter. This is a year
of unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God, and it's a year of
unprecedented, unparalleled favor of God, and it's a year of revenge
on the enemy. Take full advantage of all that God plans to do
in this next twelve months and you will be turned into another
man and another woman.
Let's pray together.
Closing Prayer i
Father, I bless You. Father, I pray that the weight of this word
will sit upon us month after month after month. That we will not
be able to escape the reality of what it is that you want to do.
I pray, Holy Spirit, that You will not let us drop below a level
of faith. Give wisdom, strength, endurance, to keep pressing in,
pressing in, because this is a year like unto Israel entering
into Canaan, when the Lord said, "I'm going to give you
cities you didn't build. You're going to live in houses you didn't
build, full of good things. You're going to eat from vineyards
you didn't plant," and this for slaves, was like a dream
come true. This is that. Beloved, this is that. This is a year
that your dreams are going to come true. This is a year that
you'll think it can't get any better, but it probably will. This
is a year that will be too good to be true, but it's going to
bring you right back to the place where you understand what the
Gospel really means. It's good news! See, we've been living in
"okay" news. We have to taste the "good" news,
and your very life and lifestyle will be a witness to people.
The favor, the smile, the countenance, everything is going
to be a witness to people round about you.
This is the same kind of year that Israel had when they crossed over the Jordan. They beat the enemy, they pushed him back and they started to live in places. They'd only lived in hovels and slept out in the open as slaves in Egypt, making bricks without straw. And now, suddenly, they're living in such luxury they don't know what to do with themselves. In fact, God was so concerned about what He would do for them, that He said, "Beware that you don't forget God when you live in such incredible luxury." That might be a word of warning for us, because it's going to be that kind of year.
These slaves couldn't believe their eyes. They'd lived in the world, they'd been in Canaan, they'd been in Egypt, they'd been in the wilderness, in the desert, 40 years, and to live in this place was like, "I've died and gone to heaven." It's that kind of year, beloved. Take advantage.
Father, we pray, help us. Give us wisdom. Give us grace. Give us strength. Our inheritance is forming. I pray that not one of us will fall away from the place that you want to bestow upon us this year- that every one of us will enter into our inheritance. Every one of us will come into our place and our identity. I pray this will be a year like we've never had before in the whole of our life. Lord, I pray that you will get incredible glory from each of us. That the amount of glory and praise that we exude towards heaven will increase. That a spirit of thanksgiving and grace would so touch us that you would receive glory upon glory upon glory. And I pray that we would reap such a harvest of souls that we can't even imagine it right now. That you would turn our lives upside down and inside out, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
