Aquila's Pictures

All about Aquila

Welcome to Aquila's Mew, the site dedicated to my Tiercel Red-Tailed Hawk Aquila. The Red-Tailed Hawk is a wonderful display of God's handiwork, and you will be hard pressed to find anything that compares to watching one of them at work. Aquila may not be the biggest, the most agressive of birds, nor have the most rabbits under his belt, but over all he has to be the best Red-Tail I've ever seen, wild or in captivity. Since being intermewed, he has only increased his hunting prowless. Thanks for your interest - I hope you gain the same appreciation I have for a bird of his calibur. I've got some links below to some other good sites, but being an apprentice falconer I am in no position to make reccomendations on training techniques ect... so I will let the pro's do it. Any questions you have can be sent to me at [email protected] I'd also love to get input on other links to add. I'll keep looking whenever I can find time. That's about all I have to say for now, until I hear from you, good luck and happy hawking!
