Until I Saw a Fat Man Bow

By: Jason Sinkhorn

My life was fine and all was well

If something had been going on you probably couldn’t tell

I kept everything I felt inside

I didn’t want to take you all on my emotional ride

Sure I felt sorry for myself at times

Felt that I should just be quiet and express it like the mimes

Just move around and sometimes grin

Always funny or serious but still kept it in

I didn’t know if I would still be accepted by my peers

Didn’t know if the real me could get a girl without a couple of beers

But one day a light was shone into in my eye

One that showed me that no matter what we all should try

To express and humble ourselves no matter when or how

A bundle of tormentful emotion, until I saw a fat man bow.
