Sam: Hey sweetie. Could you come over. It's kinda important.
Roger: You mean right now?
Sam: Yeah. If it's not to much trouble.
Roger: Uh I don't know.
Mom: Who is it dear.
Roger: It's Sam. She needs me to run to her apartment for a few minutes.
Mom: Well go ahead. Your sister is staying till tonight and your dad just fell asleep.
Dad: How should I know?
Mom: See I told ya.
Roger: Alright. Hey Sam. I'll be right over.
Sam: Okay. Be careful. Bye.
Roger: Bye
(Sound effect-hanging up)
Mom: When are you going to buy her gift?
Roger: We aren't exchanging until tomorrow. I'll go buy it tonight.
Mom: Alright. Well tell her I say hi and Merry Christmas.
Roger: Alright mom. Love you. Bye (Sound effect-door slamming)
Mom: Stan, do you love me like that?
Dad: How should I know.
Mom: (Sighs)
Narrator: So Roger drove over to Sam's apartment. Wondering the entire time what was so important that he had to leave so quickly.
