Chapter 15

"I don't know what you are talking about." Nina tried to play dumb. Tiffany thought it was so funny that she and Nina got along so well. High school, they were just part of the same group, not very close. Tiffany had always been really close to all of Justin's girl friends; it was funny considering the fact that she ended up with Justin. Nina had always kind of been jealous of tiffany. Tiffany knew what she wanted in life, and she knew how to get it. Tiffany was also the most popular girl in school, and although Nina was apart of Tiffany's crowd, she didn't feel fit for her position.
"Nina, come on now, we've known each other since high school, I remember the look on your face when you realized you had fallen in love with Lance." Tiffany said sitting on the couch.
"It's Joey." Nina said.
"Ahh, Joseph Fatone, what a heart breaker." Tiffany taunted.
"It's like different with us, like he'll move in really close like he's going to kiss me then wink and pull away, and it drives me wild, it's like he's pumping me up for the ultimate prize, and let me tell you Tiffany, when I get the prize, GOOD GOD!" Nina smiled.
"Wow." Tiffany laughed, "I remember when it was like that with Justin and I."
"You mean, it's not like that anymore?" Nina said as she pulled her head up.
"Well, yeah, but I mean when the relationship was fresh and my feelings were weird and the sex was, breathtaking," Tiffany paused for a moment then continued, "I mean, it's still amazing, he does things that he used to do when we were younger, and he makes me feel like I am the most beautiful person in the world."
"Tiff." Nina watched Tiffany as the tears ran down her cheeks.
"I used to be so unhappy Nina, always hiding behind that smile, always hiding behind JC. I always pretended to be the strong one you know? Freshman year I went to Justin's house and I was lying on his bed. I stayed on his bed, in his lap until 4 am. He did that thing that you were telling me about except he kissed me. It was the most amazing kiss I had ever received from anyone. I knew then I wanted to be with Justin, but I was JC's and I let myself push him aside and fall for JC, just to break his heart."
Nina sat there. Speechless. JC was one of Nina's best friends and she used to hate Tiffany because she broke JC's heart. All along JC broke Nina's heart by dating the only person she had ever loved. She watched as Tiffany sobbed into her hands. Nina didn't understand why this made Tiffany so emotional or upset. She just placed her arms around Tiffany and realized right then, she needed Joey, and he was the one for her.

"Like the thing I hate is in bed, Amy like turns into a completely different person, it's kind of scary." Chris laughed.
"Dude, Tiffany, she like bites me. It's weird like when she's about to orgasm she like leans toward my neck and kisses it gently then moves up and snatches her teeth on my ear." I said.
"Yeah, well…" Lance started but got the evil eye from JC, "JC is the perfect lover in bed."
"Yeah right, he probably cries afterwards." Chris laughed. It's true though, Lance told us before that after they had sex. We all thought it was hilarious that JC cried, but whatever.
"So, Joe, what about Nina?" JC asked.
"Nina and I don't have sex." Joey said.
"Yeah right," Lance laughed, "You SEX ANIMAL and Nina is freaking horny 24/7."
"Um, Nina and I are just best friends." Joey defended himself and Nina. I knew he was lying because Nina always tells Tiffany like everything, and Tiffany being my best friend tells me.
"With benefits." Chris laughed.
"You guys, seriously…" Joey paused then looked over at me. I gave him that 'Yep, I know, your girl has a big mouth' he smiled at me and then turned back to the guys, "I'm choosing to use my 5th amendment rights."
"Oh, whatever Joey, we all spilled now you tell." JC whined. I swear JC is so obsessed with Joey's sex life. I know he wanted to have sex with him. Yuk.
"I'm a gentleman, I don't kiss and tell." Joey laughed shoving a piece of pizza in his mouth.
"Justin, what are you getting Tiffany for Christmas?" Lance said changing the subject.
"Man, I don't even know. I was thinking something like diamond earrings, or something." Justin said.
"I wish I could get Amy some diamond earrings." Chris said stirring the soda in his cup.
"Chris, Amy will love whatever you get her." Justin said placing his arm around Chris.
"I know, I'm so jealous of you sometimes Justin." Chris admitted.
"Don't be, I'm not perfect." Justin said turning back to his drink.
"Yeah but you got the girl." Chris said underneath his breath.

Nina walked in and turned the light on to see Joshua and Vanessa lying side by side. An awe escaped Tiffany and Nina's lips at the same time. The two women went to pick up their kids as the heard the sounds of the five grown men piling into Justin's house. Tiffany placed Joshua in his crib as Nina's buckled Vanessa into the car seat. The two women made their way down stairs to meet with the guys. Tiffany kissed Justin and winced at the smell of beer that coated his breath. She smiled softly as she gave JC, Lance, Chris, and Joey and kiss good night.
"Are you coming with me?" Joey asked Nina.
"Yeah, do you want me to?" Nina asked.
"Of course I do." Joey said reaching for the car seat. Joey and Nina looked at the multiple eyes staring back at them.
"What?" Nina said.
"Nothing, you two kids be safe, and remember no glove no love." JC laughed.
"Oh geez, alright guys get the hell out of here, it's bed
