| LETHAL TROUTABOUT WARRIORS SHOWS | |||||
| LTW have been playing together since March of 99, and some shows are hard to remember, but here is a list of the ones we can remember. | |||||
| March 99: NHS Talent Show, LTW, without Randy, got 2nd place! They got beat by the Blue Dawg Quartet, but that's okay. Some people thought it wasn't fair for us to get 2nd place, since J-RO was the one putting on the show, and he chose the judges. But it's not his fault they know talent when they hear it. March and April 99: LTW played at a high school dance, but it sucked, because dances ain't our thing. May 99: LTW, along with Porno John and Slash and Burn played at the Nyssa Skate Park for Jimmy's Skate Shop, as part of a skating demo for Republic Skateboards. August 99: LTW played their first big show, opening up for Solace at Tommyjohn's, in Salem, OR. We even got paid $100. September 18, 99: LTW played at the Barq's National Garage Band Festival in McCall, ID. They went up against other Idaho bands, like Jump the Gun, Wild Bill, and Theme 5. They didn't place, because the judges were fixed, unlike the NHS Talent Show. December 31, 99, or 1-1-00: LTW played a New Year's house party with Stool Pijon. We have played lots of other parties, but this one kicked most ass, because we made lots of fans out of Stool Pijon's fans. And it was the beginning of 2000. March 12, 00: LTW played their new biggest show, by playing during the alternate week for Bogie's Battle of the Bands. Again, we didn't place, but we rocked pretty good. July 3, 00: Okay, this is the biggest show in LTW's career. LTW played at the Nampa, ID stop of the Van's Warped Tour. We had the biggest or 2nd biggest crowd out of the 8 bands, beating out the crowds of some established local bands. Why? Because Nyssa and local fans kick ass! July 8, 00: LTW played in Hagerman, ID for a punk show with 4 other bands, that slip my mind right now. It was fun, although the crowd was a little small. Thanks to Jason for the free nachos, candy, hotdogs, and hospitality. November 12, 00: LTW played at the Sundance Saloon in Payette, ID with death metal band DECAYED. Our second bar show, this one went okay, with the band getting free drinks all night. December 2, 00: LTW opened (again) for 4 from Hell (decayed) and Stool Pijon. The place was pretty damn packed, the most people that bar has seen in a while. We did good to pump up the crowd, and Stool Pijon went off the fucking hook. Again, free drinks for all. December 21, 00: LTW headlined (finally!) a show at the HOUSE OF ROCK with Left Behind from Payette. We played a tight set, but the show would have sucked if it wasn't for all the hometown fans attending. People thought that talking shit to us would make us think they knew something about punk music, so fuck 'em. January 2, 01: For the first show of the new year, LTW travelled all the way to Sun Valley, ID, along with Left Behind, and played at the NextStage Theater with bands such as Left Behind, Varsity Punx, Kingpin Superstar, Seven Ten Split, Sickshift, and Northstar. The crowd was pretty small for our set, but oh well. Thanks to everyone who payed a whoppin 12 bucks to get in, and a BIG THANKS to those who bought CD's. February 11, 01: LTW participated in a local Battle of the High School Prom Queens..er...of the Bands I mean. Video footage shows that we put on a great show, but somehow or another we once again proved the corruption in the system. We didn't even place in the top five out of eight. oh well, politics are politics. February 13, 20 01: Even though we sucked so badly that we didn't place at Battle of the bands, by some miracle we were chosen out of nine bands to go and record at the Art Institute of Seattle, all expenses paid. Well i guess those music loving people in Seattle just don't know as much about music as the lads and lassies in the Treasure Valley who attended the B. of the B. May 12, 01: After a super long hiatus, LTW returned from its dormant state to play at the Payette Park Band Shell. Other bands that played included Sub*vert, Colehaven, Triple Helix, Pirqlaters, and Switch Hitter. We played for a good size crowd, considering the Killer Gnats were in full force. The highlight of the show was when Vietnam Vet and possible Park inhabitant Bob Marshall gave the crowd a speech about the government and the war. Truely a moment you didn't want to miss.
