"We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, therefore have I spoken; we also believe and therefore speak." 2 Corinthians 4: 13
Please be patient as this site is under construction Evangelism in Southwestern Ontario
Ask yourself this question: Where do I stand with God?
Are you Righteous (meaning right with Him) or are you condemned?
What must you do to be Righteous in His sight? What must you do to be condemned? These are direct questions, but are worthy of considerstion.
In 2003, I was beginning to see the need for evangelism in Canada and so I started to write, print and distribute gospel tracts and pamphlets. But with this my burden only increased. When  I began to talk to people on the street I saw that the large majority have not even heard a clear gospel presentation. It seems that the Church's focus has been so inward (meaning let's bring them into the Church and then preach to them) that those that do not or will not go to Church have not heard the message. I am surprised at how many people have not heard the true gospel of God's grace. And so in response to the command of our Lord to simply go into the world and preach the gospel, I began doing street evangelism in Southwestern Ontario, primarily in St. Thomas.

In this day of big Churches and programs it may seem to some that this form of wittnessing is a little outdated but as far as I can see you will not find a more biblical approach to the work that the Church has been given by our Lord. Simply Go and Preach. Why is this not happening in Canada? Is it that this is just not how the Lord wants us to spread the gospel anymore? Or is it that we just don't like to do what is uncomfortable? Judge in yourselves whether of the two best fits with  concience, I am not nor can be the judge  but regardless, the fact remains that people are dying without having heard the clear message of Christ in Canada.

Is there somthing wrong?

So what is the problem? Is it lack of boldness? Is it faintheartedness? I don't believe so. Could it be that the Church has lost the drive to testify of what she claims has changed her  because she has left her first love? Could it be that the faith we have is not a faith driven by love for others and for Christ. Does the Love of Christ no longer constrain us? Have we ceased to judge that if one died for all then were all dead? Could it be that we have lost in our hearts the governing principle of the Lordship of Jesus Christ, identified with Him in His death (thus dead to sin) and identified with Him in His ressurection life (thus alive to God).

And yet it is not neccesarily evangelism that we need, because evangelism is only the effect of a deeper cause and that cause is spirituallity, what we need is revival. For evangelism is the natural fruit of true revival. When the Spirit of God moves in man the Love of God, the longing for purity for holiness for identification with the crucified and risen Lord then that man cannot help but testify of the grace extended to him "as it is written, I have believed; therefore have I spoken; we also believe and therefore speak."

What is Revival?

My definition is this; simply the Church beginning to function as it was created to function.

What do you think God would say?
God has declared that all are in sin and thus do not measure up to what He requires for us. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23 And being condemned we are His enemies by nature, we are not "alright" on our own.

How can we be reconciled to a Holy, Perfect God?
Should we just do our best and try to be good and maybe God will accept  us in the end? Should we trust in religious organizations and traditions to have us right with our Maker?
God has declared the only way we can be right with Him. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14: 6 The only way we can get to God is through His work, His way, Jesus Christ. As it is written "For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2: 8, 9

Righteousness of Faith
Jesus Christ the sinless Son of God died on a cross to pay the penalty for sin that you and I deserve. But Christ did not stay in the grave. He was raised from the dead, having overcome in death as he overcame in His sinless life. "For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living." Romans 14: 9
Jesus Christ is Alive and is Lord of All!

If you recognize that you personally are a sinner, call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to save you. For it is written "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10: 13
Turn from yourself and turn to Jesus Christ for He died for you to reconcile you to God, and He rose again to save you by His life.
