My Rating:

Professor Martens- Expert on prehistoric monsters. He constantly reminds the military, not to blow up the creature because it can regenerate. He gets so upset by the incompetent military that he suffers a heart attack.

Dr. Peter Dalby- Scientist who's studying the remains of Reptilicus and trying to construct what it might've looked like. Ends up as Reptilicus fodder.

Lisa and Karen- Professor Martens' two male crazed daughters. For some reason you get the sense that they were never allowed to date back in high school (and possibly even college).

Connie Miller- Shows General Grayson around town, and helps Lisa mix some sedatives to knock out Reptilicus.

Svend- Miner who discovered the remains of Reptilicus. He realizes that he should've left well enough alone near the movie's end. It's a little too late for that pal.

Mr. Peterson- He's kind of like a mongoloid Danish Kramer (of Seinfeld fame). The night watchman and handyman at the aquarium (as well as our comic relief).

Brigadier General Grayson- Tough American general who's trying to seek out and destroy Reptilicus. Need I say more?

Captain Brandt- Crushed in his jeep by a falling giant rubber snake monster. His sacrifice saves the day though.

Reptilicus- A frozen piece of tail thaws out and regenrates into one of the goofiest looking monstrosities to ever grace the silver screen. While having super regenerative abilities it also has the ability to spray animated slime from it's flopping maw. It's knocked out with sedatives, so that it can be properly disposed of.

This one's a doozy. Despite the laughable special effects it's a whole lot of fun to watch! High above the arctic circle Svend and several men are drilling for copper in the soft muddy arctic ground(?). They discover the remains of an ancient reptile and send them back to Copenhagen for study. Professor Martens and Dr. Dalby begin a thorough study of the remains. Around this point Mr. Peterson is hired as the night watchman and handyman. As he's doing rounds on his second night of work, Dr. Dalby tells him to go home. Dalby goes into the freezer and cuts a piece of flesh from what we now see is a frozen tail. As he's studying the sample he dozes off and the freezer door opens, thus thawing out the entire tail.
It is soon discovered that the tail is regenerating an entirely new creature. So what do they do? Put it in a tank full of vitamins and juices to help it grow. Eventually the creature regenerates completely, awakens, then breaks out of the aquarium (but not before snacking on Dr. Dalby). To combat this new threat to humanity, General Mark Grayson from the United States is called in. He soon finds that bullets and light artillery are no match for the rubbery snake monster of doom (now named Reptilicus). He chases the creature across the Danish countryside, trying to destroy it. The Danish Navy (consisting of one warship I guess) sails in at one point and fires depth charges at Reptilicus. They successfully manage to blast off one of the monsters legs (which they have no idea of, even at the end). Professor Martens daughter Lisa tells them to stop firing because they could end up with many Reptilici (what is the plural of Reptilicus anyways?).
Eventually Reptilicus descends upon Copenhagen, slowly flopping through toy buildings along it's path. Svend ends up giving Grayson and idea... let's knock the monster out with sedatives, then we can do what we please with it. Conveniently enough, Connie Miller and Lisa Martens are on hand to mix up some sedatives (apparently that's a Danish woman's specialty). Grayson loads the sedatives into a bazooka shell but can't get a clear shot. This is where Captain Brandt comes in. Brandt hops in a jeep and drives right underneath Reptilicus, getting crushed in the process. Grayson fires the bazooka shell into Reptilicus' mouth, which knocks it out, and everyone gives a sigh of relief. But wait, what's this? Apparently the leg Reptilicus lost (due to Danish depth charges) is regenerating a new monster. Here we go again!

Lisa: "Don't spend all your time with all those old fossils father. You might become one."
Prof. Martens: "With two daughters like you and Karen, it's a pleasure to retire to my old bones."

Mr. Peterson: "Ee... lectric Eel... hmmmm... hello... (taps on tank) Yep. Everything around here runs on electricity."

General Grayson: "It's a good thing that there are no more like him."
