Sean Barker- Jack Armstrong! A young martial arts student who accidentally dons the alien armor of the Guyver. The movie's hero.

Max Reed- Mark Hammil! CIA agent who tries to unravel the mystery behind Dr. Segawa's death. He mutates into a large insect and dies.

Dr. Segawa- Scientist who attempts to keep the Guyver out of the hands of the Chronus Corporation. His head is crushed by Lisker.

Mizky Segawa- Daughter of Dr. Segawa and love interest of Sean Barker. She gets smacked around a lot during the movie and has trouble speaking English.

Striker- Zoanoid that looks like the Dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park. He serves as the comic relief throughout the movie.

Ramsey- Zoanoid that looks like an elephant. Ramsey's tossed into an incubator by the Guyver which then causes him to fry.

Weber- Zoanoid that looks like a hairy wolf/owl/bear. Sliced by the Guyver.

Lisker- Michael Berryman! The coolest looking monster in the whole film. He leads all the above mentioned Zoanoids against the Guyver. He's stabbed four times in the side, suffers a broken leg, and dies after his head is torn open.

Fulton Balcus- David Gale! C.E.O. of the Chronus Corporation and Zoarlord. He can telepathically manipulate any Zoanoid and can turn into a giant monster. Just when his victory is at hand, he's destroyed by the Guyver.

The movie starts off with Dr. Segawa running away from the Zoanoids. Within the briefcase that he is carrying, lies the Guyver. What is the Guyver you ask? It's an organic body armor that protects the wearer and makes him (or her) almost invulnerable. And you're also thinking...What in the hell is a Zoanoid? It's a human being with the ability to change into a more powerful creature...such as a werewolf...due to genetic alterations. Well Dr. Segawa is killed in a fight with Lisker but not before he makes the old switcheroo. The Guyver ends up in the possession of Sean Barker, a young martial arts student. When attacked by a gang he falls onto the Guvyer unit, which fuses with his body. He then proceeds to beat the living piss out of each gang member.
Meanwhile Max Reed is trying to find out how and why Dr. Segawa has died. He knows the scientist's death is linked somehow to the Chronus Corporation. While all of this is going on, Fulton Balcus, CEO of the Chronus Corporation desperately wants the Guyver back, so he sends Lisker and the other Zoanoids to kidnap Mizky. Max shows up just as Sean thwarts the kidnapping attempt. The three run to an old abandoned factory and attempt to hide from the Zoanoids. Inside things look pretty bleak, until Sean activates the Guyver and battles the evil Zoanoids. After killing three of them, he is defeated. After the fight, Mizky and Max are taken captive to the underground Chronus research facility.
Max is put into an incubator to be changed into a Zoanoid. Mizky attempts to escape and threatens to destroy what is left of the Guyver. Striker attempts to get it and knocks the Guyver piece into the mouth of another Zoanoid who ends up swallowing it. The Zoanoid collapses and writhes on the floor... until a blade cuts through it's chest. Then Sean, decked out in the Guyver armor, steps out of the body of the fallen Zoanoid. For the next twenty minutes or so, he defeats all of the Zoanoids and then takes his friends and attempts to escape.
As Sean, Mizky, and Max are escaping, Max suddenly begins changing into a large insect. Since he did not complete the full amount of time needed to become a full fledged Zoanoid... he dies. Then Balcus enters and threatens Sean who proceeds to kick him through a set of double doors. Balcus, in an enraged state mutates into the Zoarlord, a huge dinosaurian monster. The two battle until Sean is pinned against a wall. As the Zoarlord is about to finish him off, the chest plate of the armor opens and blasts the Zoarlord into oblivion. And so evil is once again defeated by good and Sean and Mizky will live happily ever after... or will they? See the ending to find out.

Lisker: (After crushing Segawa's head) "What a waste of a good brain."

CIA Agent: "You're still chasing Ninja Turtles huh?"
Max: "Hey! I'm telling you I saw them."

Gang Member: "Uh... I'm just playing ya man, I'm just playing."
The Guyver: "Then let's play!" (Throws the guy into a barrel).

Max: "Just one thing. I mean, what the hell's a scientist doing in the middle of the night on a concrete riverbed in his lab coat? Fishing?!"
CIA Agent: "Who knows? Some people will do anything to land a fish. Even tell a fish story."
Max: "Yeah? Well it ain't fish I smell, it's a rat!"

Sean: "I... am... the GUYVER!"

Lisker: "That's the Guyver? Ha... nuthin' to it."

Scientist: "Not all mutations are created equal."

Lisker: "I killed you once and I'll kill you again."
The Guyver: "You can't kill me. I've been rejected by death."

The Guyver: "You had your chance...Now it's mine...BONEHEAD!" (rips open Lisker's forehead).
