Time moves on,
Now hours on the phone,
They talk, but sweet nothings they say,
For LOVE is in the air,
Youth they must bear,
Left behind childish games, and it's ways,

Wedding bells peel,
As two young adults kneel,
And "Vows" to keep till dying day,
A year goes by,
Heard a "Baby's" cry,
Yet, a stronger bond, has come to stay.

Then children all grown,
Sometimes call home,
Too busy, but just ~ to say Hello!,
Sit in rockers all day,
on porch, word games they play,
Always a Kiss and a "Smile"
their love to show.

But, comes a Spiritual time,
All "Dreams" are left behind,
One must take leave his Love,
In Her arms as She holds,
Death takes its' toll,
While his spirit ascends above!

With a whimper and a sigh,
She kisses him: "GOOD BYE",
And tells him, "it won't be too long",
"SHE'LL join him again,
East of the Wind,
And once more they 'll sing:
"LOVES-SONG"
