| Aurelio De La Paz 1)Why do you think that teenagers joing gangs? �Teenagers joing gangs because it is possible that they are receiving peer pressure, or sometimes there is nobody to talk to them about the good and bad things of life.� 2) What is your experience related to gangs? �My experience related to gangs is that just for dressing like a gang banger I almost got shot in front of my little sister and two of my closest friends. What save me from being dead is that my little sister began crying, I just remember that I told her to shut up, and after that I saw that the gang banger placed the gun in his pocket and left.� 3) Has anybody in your family being hurt from gang activity? �Fortunately nobody in my family has been hurt from gang activity, but I do know families that had been affected by this problem.� 4) According to your experience what do a gang recruiter looks in a teenager? �Well, gang recruiters do not look for something in specific in a teenager. The only thing is that this person is willing to do anything in name of the gang he is joinig.� 5) What you do when a gang member bothers you? �What I do when a gang member bothers me is that I ignore him or them. Especially for what happened to me in front of my sister. Most of the time I don�t care what they are telling me, I try to stay away as much as I can.� 6) What teenagers have to do in order to become a gang banger? �For boys they have to kill a gang banger from another gang, also they should get a tatto, and the most usual thing is that you get beat up for several minutes. For girls rules chage a little bit, what they have to do is have sex with a member of the gang she wants to join.� 7) How would you define a gang banger�s life? �I don�t really think that a gang banger has a life because all that a gang banger does is sell drugs, kill people, and pass time in jail.� 8) WHat do gangs offer? �For me gangs have nothing to offer but danger, but others think that gangs offer protection, money, popularity with girls, and just the fact of being cool.� 9) What is a gang banger normal day? �What a gang banger does in a normal day is never get out of your zone or hood by yourself, and watch your back alertly because more than one person wants to kill you.� 10) What do gangs usually fight for? �Gangs usually fight for territory, and to keep up the pride of their own gang.� |
