Celebrity Photographs

These are pictures of me with different celebrities that I have met. The pictures are in chronological order. A very special thanks goes out to my good friend Diane Vander Pol for scanning some of these pictures for me. On the right are items that I have gotten autographed. Me with Cecil Fielder, former Detroit Tigers baseball player. Cecil was in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, appearing at a card show. I did get to Mt. Pleasant until after the card show ended. Cecil waited in his hotel lobby until I arrived. Fall, 1994

Me with Sparky Anderson, former Detroit Tigers manager. My brother, Jim Phillips, has a friend whose company worked with the Detroit Tigers organization. They were able to arrange this meeting shortly before a double header. Summer, 1995.

Me with Dino Cicerrelli, former Detroit Red Wings hockey player. Dino appeared at a Sears store in Livonia, Michigan. My sister, Jeanne Phillips, drove in from Lansing, Michigan, and picked me up in Canton, Michigan, and took me to the store in Livonia. Summer, 1995.

Me with Jason Kendall, current Pittsburgh Pirate's baseball player. My brother, Jeff Phillips, was Jason's high school baseball coach. We met up with Jason when Pittsburgh had a 4 game series in Cincinnati. We spent the weekend with my sister, Joanne Phillips-Estes in Cincinnati. Summer, 1995.

Me with Willie Horton, former Detroit Tigers baseball player. Willie appeared at a card show at the Lansing Mall. Summer, 1996.

Me with Gordie Howe, former Detroit Red Wings hockey player, and his wife Colleen. Gordie appeared at a fund raising event in Lansing, Michigan. My sister, Jeanne Phillips, worked with a lawyer who knew the judge who organized the fund raising event. Jeanne picked me up in Lansing and took me to meet with Gordie and Colleen Howe. Summer, 1996.

Me with Gates Brown, former Detroit Tigers baseball player. Gates appeared at a card show at the Lansing Mall. I met with Gates the same day I met Gordie Howe. Summer, 1996.

Me with Bobby Ross, former Detroit Lions football head coach. Coach Ross donated money to the Michigan Assisted Breathing Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan and met with each resident. Summer, 1998.

Me with Billy Simms, former Detroit Lions football player. Billy appeared at a Grand Rapids Rampage Arena football game. He met with fans and signed autographs after the game. Summer, 1998.

Me with Andrei Vasilyev and Max Spiridonov, 2 Grand Rapids Griffins, IHL hockey players. They came to visit the residents of the Michigan Assisted Breathing Center. Christmas, 1998
