Me with Gordie and Colleen Howe. Gordie and Colleen appeared at a Grand Rapids Griffins hockey game. My friends Janice and Roy Thatenin were able to help me meet Gordie and Colleen again. March 9, 2000.

races at Grattan Race Track near
Grandville, Michigan. This was in July of 2000.
On April 10, 2002, Jeff Erlandson, Daniel Rawlinson and I attended a
a series of
game. This was between the Grand Rapids Force and the St. Louis
Quest. This was the first year of the new womens professional vollyball league. The level of competition was outstanding. Right after the game, the Force players came back on to the court to meet us. I am taking the unusal step of including 2 pictures because my favorite player, Jen Flynn, #11, was not in the picture with the most players. A special thanks goes out to Marcy K. Boerema, Director of Public & Media Relations, Grand Rapids Force, for providing the names of the players.
