I have been working on my family genealogy for a long time; probably over 15 years. The database has grown to about 4000 persons. Originally the data I entered into Brother's Keeper came from Gordon Haliburton. He provided me with a printout of his research that I used as the foundation for my own work. Some Garland information came from my Aunt Jean. She also has some interest in the family history. Cliff Lilly gave me lots of data on the Sceviour and Wells familys of Exploits. Additional names and dates for Sceviours came from Uncle Max. A lot of Wells family information I got from Francis Jennings and her son Joe. Many individuals also helped out along the way. My mother, for example, is always a good source. Recently, Peter Holmes has been providing me with very useful websites. I'll put them below. Other sources are Rev. Garland Lacey's document on the Manuels, and Michael Harris' "Rare Ambition" book on the Crosbys. Thanks to everyone who has or will contribute.

The table below links to different family groups. Some are more up-to-date than others. The master listing at Rootsweb's WorldConnect will generally be the most recent. Some family history is provided and will be expaneded. Please pass along your stories.

PLEASE NOTE: Dates of living persons under the age of 80 have been excluded for the sake of some privacy, but remember, most everything I have is generally available to the public anyway. Birth, death, marriage, census and other information that is not already online will probably all find its way to the web eventually. If you have a problem with anything presented here, please let me know. Corrections, missing data and so on will be much appreciated. Serious researchers can obtain the complete GEDCOM.
