OUR HARMONIOUS RELATIONSHIP WITH PEOPLE INDICATES OUR GROWTH TO MATURITY.
For me I consider this growth or progress with oneself and with other people as the right idea to the term "maturity" to life. Maturity does not consist in knowing skills; rather, I would even say that maturity is really more on relationships with other persons. In connection with this, relationship can only be made possible and genuine if in the first place we know ourselves well, through reflection. Events in our lives are as good as nothing if they would not incite us to reflection so as to grow in relationship with ourselves and with our brethren. (And therefore, I would say that this second aspect of growth does not come to us spontaneously. It really needs a conscious process for us to discover it.)
For me, actualization of self is to advance and extend our being to a higher form of existence. We do not just become human being, but we become higher human being. It is not found in the end; it is a state of continual growth.
However, we should not forget that too much monotony has its own disadvantage. They would sometimes eliminate in us our sense of self-expression and spontaneity which are very vital for our self - discovery and progress. In routinary structure, an individual looses his/her creativity and he/she cannot show what is within them, as the structure seem to suppress it.
But on the other hand , I see also that so much constant variations, just for the sake of variations, may distract the person from his constant progress. It is in his daily chore that we are incited to reflection (a conscious dynamic activity), whether for our growth to maturity or as something which is to be shared for others.
