Preventative maintenance

Your PC also needs routine maintenance to continue operating at peak performance. Many computer components generate static-electrical charges that attract the dust being drawn in from the fans inside the computer. This insulating blanket of dust can accumulate over time and cause overheating issues that can reduce the lifespan of your PC. This type of maintenance needs to be performed once a year, depending on environment. If there is a lot of cigarette smoke in the area, this acts like glue to dust particles and can kill PC fans that protect your microprocessor. If smoke is present, I recommend this service at least once every nine months.
